Hope you all have a good Christmas.
BTW i haven't got any brakes. Peddle has gone very hard and there is very little braking effect at all. Goes in on the 4th.
Came off the trophy as I manage to get a set of 182 xenons very cheap! have been faultless! no probs what so ever, bought for £80+ around 7 months ago. There not a cheap ebay set.

Just viewed and bought #365. Thanks to Ben for his time today showing me and the Girlfriend the car, really has been well looked after. It's going to be girlfriends car in the week and mine at weekends I hope! ;-) Cant wait to collect next Saturday.
I'm thinking of buying a couple of Mich PE3's as the fronts need replacing.
Rears have covered at least 15,000 miles but have good tread.
Do you,
A) Replace the fronts with the new tyres?
Or
B) Switch the partially worn tyres on the rear to the front, and put the new tyres on the rear.
?
Hi,
Thought I'd sign up here to get some info from Trophy owners before I test drive some.
I currently own a Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.3 which I really like and recently thought I would never sell as it does almost everything that I want in a car(no I dont want comfort!)-steering feel, chassis...
Well after fighting through the snow, Driving on a main motorway at 20mph and doing some scray back roads my lovley other half took me to pick my trophy up.
Its now in tucked away at work in a secure carpark while the snow is here and is soon to be moved inside.
Thise is the only 2 pics i got...
MF said these were loose at the last service 4k ago. I had a knocking through the steering when stationary. This is becoming a PITA. That's without the seat mechanism not working properly. Anyone else had this?
My bro said there is a similar problem with elises. Either use thread locking...
Okay so I decided not to renew the tax on my T at the end of October as i'm anticipating another horrendous winter with bucket loads of salt being spread on the roads. Not a great thing to have plastered all over my lovely refurbished sachs dampers :)
So I SORN'd my T online and it's kept off...
Trophy #461
No clean shots in here detailing freaks.
It gets driven, & it gets driven hard. 172k miles & counting.
Mud is courtesy of the field at Haynes, which was perfect for handbrake turns ;)
Trophy # 433 (now owned by Luke_89)
On its holidays in August...
I have an issue with my trophy's suspension set up. I adore the sash dampers they are very well build and have a good amount of adjustability but are lacking adjustable spring seat platforms. I feel when the car is on track it needs to be lower at the front and the back but mostly the back.
My...
Hey.
I just spent the last 10 days in Peru, 4 days walking the Inca Trail and MachuPiccu, what an amazing experience!

........noticed my Trophy has started doing this again like my old 172 which I read about some time ago and was led down the road of fitting the washers under the top mount rubbers.
Have not fitted these yet to the Trophy (may explore solid tops if problem cannot be resolved) but have a...
............tried to get a picture of the T with Corfe Castle in the background but no places to stop sadly. Was definately the highlight of my long weekend in Dorset.

I spotted T700PHY at the Cherwell White Horse on Saturday and a rather dirty 55 plate T parked up near there in a village.
The other half said funny I thought they were rare LOL :)
Hey guys, went to try a new Megane RS 250 this morning from Hylton Renault Worcester. I tried a FF 250 version not the cup version which I would personally opt for, but was quite impressed by it anyway. It felt very composed and the build quality is indeed leagues ahead of the 182, as most...

Its quite amazing, I don't think I had seen a Trophy ever, I buy one and all of a sudden there's one parked behind mine outside my house!
Basically what i was wondering is how many people use their Trophy for what it was primarily designed for?, and im not necessarily talking about track days but also just goin out for a pointless drive or a bit of a blast on your favourite stretch of road. As daft as it sounds i sometimes feel a...

i've got my 182 cup booked into K-tec next week for a janspeed/K-tec sports exhaust - i'm also really tempted by their "stage 1 tuning package" on offer for under £250 from £380 - has anyone else had it done? :?
seems a shame to undertake a 5 hour round trip & not make the best of it
