Spent the day on this

Process used


Washing

*Due to heat and sunlight I changed it slightly*

DoorShuts and Engine Bay cleansed with APC and detailing Brushes
Bilberry through Foaming spray head
APC on tyres and arches
All scrubbed and rinsed
SnowFoamed
Rinsed
Foamed again and washed using 2BM

Decontamination

AutoGlym tar and glue remover on tar lumps
Bilthamber regular and shampoo/water

Correction/Cleansing

Dodo Juice Lime Prime on Hexi-logic Green pad
Megs 3000Gritt and Backing Pad for wet-sanding

Protection

Dodo Juice SuperNatural Wax
Dodo Juice Red-Mist

Finishing Touches

Megs endurance Tyre dressing x2
AG window Polish
AeroSpace 303 on plastics and engine
Interior fully done with APC and Charles :)

Think thats about it?!

Woha...the sanding bit was new to me but impressive, nice work!!

must have taken nearly as long to post the pics..

I agree! I think I would be scared to use that on the T but the results look awesome! Reminds me, I need to give mine some TLC.

There's a hand car wash just up the road from me on the bypass. It amazes me some of the cars that i've seen there. I particularly remember seeing a new M3 :shock: as well as various Mercs, Jags and Audis. Are they all mad?

You'd probably find that a fair few of the prestige cars at the car wash are company cars.
At the moment, Audis and BMW diesels make great company cars because they are cheap to the employee in terms of the company car tax. Better than Astras, Focus' etc.
Ever wondered why a new Mondeo is about the rarest mid-size saloon around on our roads?

These cars get treated like skips as they are usually the main family car and will be returned in a couple of years without liability. I have had a handful of BMWs, an Audi A3 at present, my Cooper S and they all went through automated car washes let alone hand washes.
Needless to say, the Trophy doesn't and neither did the Evos(!)
