Hi, I have owned a Cup packed 182 for over 4 years now, determined to keep it as long as possible.
Always kind of wished for the Trophy set up so I have just invested in a full set of Trophy dampers.
I was wondering what you guys could recommend to get the set up correct. Lots of advice already...

Well after running around with the dreaded Serv and TC warning lights on for the last few months I finally took it in for a brake pedal sensor change which appeared to fix the problem.
That is, until yesterday when I had the MOT and a brake fluid change and now I've got one more warning light...
I know Renault seem to get bad reviews amongst people regarding the reliability but during my ownership I have found the Trophy really reliable. I've owned it 3 years and 4 months and had the following issues...
Failed Coolant Termperature Sensor
Failed Damper Seal
Failed CV Boot Clip
Thats...
Hi chaps, wonder if anyone can help with my issue. I've been doing quite some work to my T the last month: Front sachs refurb, fitted Ktec solid top mounts, Poly bushes fitted to lower wishbones and anti roll bar, new track rod ends, lower balljoints, koni adjustable rear dampers, mark fish...
Trophy was handling like a bag of crap, noticed a bouncy damper so had it rebuilt at BG a few weeks ago.
Also the exalto's on the front had come to their usable end so replaced them with the Pilot Sport 3's.
Anyway, Trophy's feeling a bit weird in some corners, i cant really describe it, its...

The standard air box seems to have two inlets for air. One with a cold air feed pipe that disappears somewhere underneath the nearside headlamp and another inlet without any cold air feed. Is this right ? Still having trouble with my T :(
Hi guys
Just wondered if anyone had experienced this before. If you imagine a multi-storey car park, and the 'spirals' you have to drive up in order to go up levels; I have noticed that I experience quite a loud and profound grinding noise when driving up these. The steering wheel also tends to...
Looking at getting new wheel bolts, anybody have any experience with coloured/coated ones?

I'm based in Berkshire and I want to upgrade from 2 to 3 stars so I'm after some guidance on buying a used Trophy.
When you bought your used Trophy did you get a professional independent inspection carried out? If so, who did you use & would you rate their service?
If not, what did you check...
Hi,
I'm selling my trophy due having a little baby girl to look after (mine).
The Trophy is just parked up and I need a larger car for prams, dogs and everything else that goes with a family.
The car has done 56,072miles and is in superb condition
Rear quarters and back window were tinted by...
Does anyone know the Engine Code for the 182? Apparently the wheel alignment place need that to match up the Trophy against the models listed on their machine, and the car is in another garage at the moment.
I'm looking for a good wheel alignment place near Sheffield, I wouldn't mind driving as far as Leeds / Nottingham and anywhere in between.
I need them to fit the camber bolts as well since the last place I went to didn't have a clue.
Hunter equipment would be best so I'm told.
Many thanks
Rick
when i pull away i get a knock from the front, when i change low gear i get the knock aswell like something is moving backwards as i pull away. after driving about 60 for a few mins the service trac light comes on. i know my suspension needs rebuilt but this wouldnt be the cause of it i dont...
Had the speedlines sorted out so it was time to get them on the car and take the 182 wheels off.
Had them done at "The Wheel Specialist" in edinburgh and i must say the price was cheap and the job is spot on with almost an excact match.
Sadly I'm in the position where I have to sell a car I never wished to sell: my Trophy is for sale. :( Details via PistonHeads below:

Hi guys.
Last week I had my wheels refurbished at the Wheel Repair Centre in Preston, they have done a fantastic job i'm really pleased with the results. They were shot blasted and powdercoated in Anthracite, they are not an exact match as the original paint but are very close, maybe a shade...
As promised i have a few photos of before and after of the dampers once shot blasted and sprayed.
If anyone else is thinking of doing this then from my own experiences i would suggest you look into building up the lost material once the rust and corrosion has been removed, the guy who done mine...
Hi all,
I've recently had the front and rear dampers replaced/rebuilt as well as the top mounts. Its going back in the shop tomorrow to have the ball joints replaced as well ready for a full geo alignment on saturday.
The guy at the geo place mentioned the track rod ends can sometimes be a...

Just had the front dampers back from BG motorsports, and replaced the rear dampers and top mounts at the same time. Imagine my surprise to hear creaking still coming from the front suspension somewhere [-X
I've done some digging around on here and people suggest replacing the ball joints at...
I'm sure most of you attempt or have attempted to carry out work on your own car before, mechanical minded or not. I for one have very little experience working on cars but can't resist having a go with a 'how hard can it be attitude'. As of yet I haven't caused any major damage (touch wood)...
