Its my birthday next month and im treating myself to a new exhaust (any excuse) but I cant decide which one to go for, Yozzasport or RS192?

Personally I love the sound of the Yozza but dont know whether ill be able to put up with the immense noise that it makes. Whichever one I buy will be a cat back system.
And before anyone says it I cant afford the Orb ! :)

Vote Please...
Thanks.

:D If streetfighters sale was anything to go by they are worth almost as much 2nd hand as new

Anyway, not really qualified to answer this as i've not heard the scorpian but i wasn't too impressed by the yozza.

I've got a Scorpion, but not heard a yozza. Love the sound of my exhaust and I hate anything loud and attention drawing, I fitted a decat to the scorpion a couple of weeks back and it lasted about 10 miles before I took if off again because of the noise increase!
The Scorpion is well made, designed and tested, and to me it sounds as if the car should have sounded in the first place, with a deeper note at tickover and a bit louder when driving, nice sound when flooring it, but again not what I'd call loud.
I based my descision to purchase on the fact that it was built by a reputable exhaust specialist, and had gone through a vigorous testing process of a couple of months / designs before being released.
I've not heard of any proper testing, design or dyno results on the yozza, but I think its a straight copy of another system, maybe a supersprint.

PPTom, That was the reply I was hoping for. I really was set on the RS192 but not many people on here have one fitted, so not many verdicts. I like the fact the RS192 has a deeper tone, and is not boomy, and the fact that it has had proper testing like you say.
That has made me put the RS192 on top of the list again. :D

Just bought the Scorpion RS192 ! :D opted for the Full decat system but may only run the decat for track days.

Cheers.

Jonc. I have viewed that video 100 times trying to make a decision  also read the thread a few times too. That thread made me look at the Scorpion in the first place, Thanks for that. :)

Its bought now, cant wait to get it fitted.

Going by what you've said, I think you'll be pleased with the system. Its not excessively loud or boomy, but its enough the let you know its there and sounds way better than standard without punishing your ear drums. Its well made and a quality system and fits perfectly in the rear valance cutouts and I've not made any adjustments since I first fitted it. One thing I would add is that I've since done around 4000 miles and it is a only slightly louder, with more of a meaty bass burble than thrashing rasp.

Are you gonna fit it yourself?

I will probably get my friend to do it who is a mechanic. Ive fitted a couple of exhausts before no problem but my mate will do it 3 times faster than I will.

How much did you pay for the RS192? Will look at replacing mine in due course and can't really justify £1000 on an Orbisoud, as much as I would like one

I can vouch for the quality and the sound :) i chose this over the yozzasport due to the noise also and the tailpipes look smart when fitted.

I'd only ever get a BTB! Can't find anything else that looks respectable, the tailpipes on most aftermarket systems are too big imo!

I'm sure you'll like it Ben, I think the sound has 'matured' on mine since I've had it, Sounds better now than it did when it was new although I can't say why!
Worth buying the decat to try out, but, If you don't like it for any reason they sell for £50 easily on Cliosport.

Thanks. Will go for a cat back system, as I have no plans to track day 415. Will also look to to get it fitted by local specialists renKnow. Any idea what a garage usually charges to fit an exhaust such as this?

i have a yozza decat problem is the exhaust doesnt fit into the end of the decat :s they just sort of push together and my exhaust keeps blowing such a pain, the end of the scorpion exhaust seems the same as i was going to try the scorpion but again... too small for the end of the exhaust. :(

^ get a bramd new clamp (£5) and use some high temp silicone - Loctite 5920 works well, on the mating faces. Old clamps don't seal very well.
