Back from the 'Ring - Photos!

I got chatting to a belgian guy at a petrol station who was driving an RX-8 there. A mate of his was driving a 172 Cup, and he was thinking of buying it from him, so was asking about the differences with the Trophy. Spoke to him a couple of times over the weekend, and he said he'd email me the pics he'd taken.

cracking video nik. Is your exhaust that loud inside the car? Does it get on your nerves just driving about town?

No, it's not loud at all, its spot on, although it varies quite a bit depending on with the weather believe it or not. :lol:

It sounds loud in the video because the sensitivity of the microphone is too high. Unfortunately theres no way to turn down the sound recording level on the camcorder so it always distorts a bit.

When your cruising in 5th with very little throttle its actually near silent, quieter than the standard exhaust i'd say. When you put your foot down its louder, but not annoyingly so at all.
