I'm thinking of buying a couple of Mich PE3's as the fronts need replacing.
Rears have covered at least 15,000 miles but have good tread.
Do you,
A) Replace the fronts with the new tyres?
Or
B) Switch the partially worn tyres on the rear to the front, and put the new tyres on the rear.
?
Hi,
Thought I'd sign up here to get some info from Trophy owners before I test drive some.
I currently own a Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.3 which I really like and recently thought I would never sell as it does almost everything that I want in a car(no I dont want comfort!)-steering feel, chassis...
Well after fighting through the snow, Driving on a main motorway at 20mph and doing some scray back roads my lovley other half took me to pick my trophy up.
Its now in tucked away at work in a secure carpark while the snow is here and is soon to be moved inside.
Thise is the only 2 pics i got...
Thinking of purchasing a de-cat pipe for a standard trophy exhaust and fitting it myself.
Are there any guides anywhere? If not, what tools will I need for the job folks and anything I need to know?
Thanks
Ben.
Hi all,
Last year I was looking for a Trophy as a trackday-toy, in the end I went for a modified VX220, now though the Clio-itch is back.
I've always been drawn towards the Trophy, rather than the Cup, but is it worth the premium if the car is to be used as a trackday-toy/daily driver? Is a...
Very reluctant sale. I'll almost certainly buy another one when time permits!
The Car.. absolutely no expense spared. Full Service history with Renault and Renault Specialists

Okay so I decided not to renew the tax on my T at the end of October as i'm anticipating another horrendous winter with bucket loads of salt being spread on the roads. Not a great thing to have plastered all over my lovely refurbished sachs dampers :)
So I SORN'd my T online and it's kept off...
Trophy #461
No clean shots in here detailing freaks.
It gets driven, & it gets driven hard. 172k miles & counting.
Mud is courtesy of the field at Haynes, which was perfect for handbrake turns ;)
Trophy # 433 (now owned by Luke_89)
On its holidays in August...
I recently bought some port matched inlets butbefore fitting I spent hours polishing up the out side before fitting. I complemented this with a polished strut brace that really doesn't offer much in way of performance increase but unlike the way it looks.
Also did my own tacho change by buying...

Not particularly just the Angel-works ones(although they do seem better value than say K-Tec) but the matched inlet manifold in general? anyone on here have one fitted?
Hi guys.
Been a busy few weeks so not been on for while!
I've been thinking about replacing the Clio, and amoung the current selection of contenders is the E39 M5. Yes, I know its a BMW... Wankers, no indicators blah blah etc, (I'd say the same..). They are a very good car, in all areas, and...
Due to a change in financial circumstances :( I'm taking the rather hard decision to suspend my insurance policy (a huge cost for me being 20) and lay #110 up until maybe spring or early summer next year. That way I'll be saved from renewing my insurance again in June as I can potentially...
Been treating #244 recently and its carrying on!
The mrs has been driving the car to work a few times recently (less miles than for me to go to work!) and she decided to get in the car with scissors in her pocket! (hairdresser) and cut the side of the seat, Bad times!
Took the seat to Preston...
............tried to get a picture of the T with Corfe Castle in the background but no places to stop sadly. Was definately the highlight of my long weekend in Dorset.

Has anyone contemplated using them? If so, what brand and size? Also would they actually provide better grip than the PE2's in winter?
I was looking at UK mean maximum temperatures from October to April, and between at least November to March temperatures should be highly suitable for winter...
Those with PS3s fitted - what tyre pressures are you using?
I normally run 32 front but they seem a bit squidgy if you chuck the front around.
I'm guessing a softer sidewall causes this?
Gonna try 35 front later and have a tinker.

Trying to track down the cause, hoping someone else can offer a potential cause. For the last year I would say my T has handled slightly off. The positive feel to the steering has gone and I want to try and get this back.
So far I have had the following done on the car:
- Lower suspension...
Evening Guys,
After picking up the Trophy from Sir_Dave about a week or so ago I decided, since we finally had some ok-ish weather yesterday, to give it a clean and take some photo's.
I'm so impressed with this car, it really is fanstatic. Awesome step up from the Fiesta ZS I had...
Bit of a random one this, but I'm curious to know how many people on here acknowledge other ClioSport owners when they see them on the road. I only rarely see other hot Clios round my way, but when I do I tend to give a friendly flash or a wave - normally I get one back, but not always...
My passenger seat is rattling when unloaded, and its really getting on my nerves! I have checked the 'how to' on the forum but mine seems to be the problem that its loose on the sliders. I had a thought of using something to pack it out so it wouldn't rattle away when driving.
I have tried the...
Hi folks,
not posted on here for ages. Just a bought a cheap runaround so can keep the t for high days and holidays.
Used her for the first time in three weeks today and wow what a car.
My runaround is a 1.4 and the t feels so fast and just wants you to give it more and more. Dont think you...
Hi everyone.. does anybody know if http://www.rs192.co.uk get back to you after you have ordered from them? Ordered the cat back exhaust system yesterday, payment has gone through, recieved a receipt of paypal but nothing from the website confirming the order at all!?!? just a bit concerned...
Basically what i was wondering is how many people use their Trophy for what it was primarily designed for?, and im not necessarily talking about track days but also just goin out for a pointless drive or a bit of a blast on your favourite stretch of road. As daft as it sounds i sometimes feel a...
