Hello, did not fit these myself, someone on cliosports i think, said that its more of a two person job

as far as the bushes go, one half you fit inside the boot and the other half you put under the car, with the metal tube up the middle and a plate either side, found this guide on removing the dampers, the bushes will be easy after that

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?207965-How-to-change-rear-shocks

not really had chance to test them out yet, but it feels like there is less movement from the rear

Love the thread.
You must be inspiring a lot of people.
I was wondering if you could put together a list of parts and where you bought etc. Maybe start a new thread.

Hi would not be much point, because there are a lot of parts that i have sourced from forums members, a few bit are genuine Renault parts, like the clutch cable, center caps, rear light holder, other bits like the pollyflex bushes were an ebay job

After

kinda looks the same height, not had chance to settle yet though, had a quick run along some back roads, does not feel to much harder, feels a bit more responsive through the steering, koni's were set to half way, have given them a quarter turn to hard since :)

Got myself something to keep me busy on Monday

2014-07-17175755_zps259fadf0.jpg

Took a pic of my car on the level, looks a bit better, enjoying it being a bit stiffer, still not had chance to test it out, might tweak them a bit harder on the rear soon

Threads like these makes me have second thoughts about selling 218!! You really do get as much enjoyment working on and tweaking the car as well as driving it! I don't think it'll be the same with my new car as it's all covered in plastics and sensors. The Beemer doesn't even have a dipstick!! There's a lot to be said for back to basics easily accessible solid mechanical engineering!
