Hi Guys,I am breaking my trophy after having the worst possible luck since i bought it, the final straw was when it rolled down a multi storey car park and smashed the rear quarter in and destroyed the rear bumper. The f*cking this is cursed.I have spent a small fortune on this car and it has...
Hi chaps.
Can somebody tell me what difference the Whiteline rear arb will make to the handling of the trophy.
Is it worth fitting.
My car has got the Mark Fish spring set fitted.
Thanks.
Car is now for sale ,Car was a CAT D last year for panel damage however it is showing as HPI Clear so can't have been recorded. Currently showing 70k , no history can with the car however these a bit on the owners register , like belts done last year at 60k ish. She's still in very good...

Hi all,
I am looking to lower my T as it sits far to high at the rear and intern the side skirts do not sit level with the floor.
I have my car booked into K-tec for three weeks time so will get them to sort it out but I need to know what are the best springs and how low to go.
I would like...
Regular stalker of this forum but never time to post T450 is all well (apart from CV boot clip fail) currently on 41k.
Anyway, whilst changing the front discs today I realised the T needed some TLC on her, so I plan to refurb the front dampers, new springs on front, lower wishbones, powerflex...
Hi guys,
Picking up #355 next week and will be my second trophy.
It will be a second car for me so not a daily.
I want it to be setup the best way possible.
Shall I keep it standard in terms of springs etc?
I've heard good things in terms of Mark fish, Cooksport, whiteline arb.
Are these...
Guy, Most T's have aftermarket filters, exhaust systems, braided lines & a few other bits as we all know. Now as standard im getting quotes of £600 which is fine, but declaring an air filter mod alone comes out at £900!!! Wtf!?
I cannot find a standard T. What to do?

Afternoon all, some of you from a certain other clio "forum" may well recognise my name. Well I'm fed up with talking to children and being moderated by children so I've transfered across to a hopefully more mature audience. I've been floating about on here for a while without posting, and I am...
Well, after fitting them last week, setting the front camber to -2 degrees negative on Friday and doing the Llandow trackday with CS yesterday, i can safely say that the H&R's are very worthy replacement to the Sachs.
Handling is nigh on exactly the same as the Sachs/Sportline combo that i had...
After wanting to sell my clio for something different, 330 e46, or an r26. i am keeping it but will be spending some money on it. just dont think il get something more enjoyable for the money!!
Has anyone on here had their dampers refurbed recent??? if so how much? visually and driving i cant...

hi all. new to trophy/182 ownership. iv been in clios for the last 14-15 years or so and loved every minute of it so far. 1 thing i miss tho.....the adjustability of the car mid corner playing with the throttle. iv been told the whiteline arb will go some way to help correct this. whats the...
Daydreaming at work and thought others might like to join in/help out, especially if you're as bored as me!!
Current spec is standard, plus:
Wiper stalk mod
Brembo/Ferodo discs & pads
ITG panel filter
One of the rear dampers is on the way out, leaking, so will be replaced with a pair of Koni...
Apologies for bringing this up again but the recent spate of comments on suspension has prompted me to post.
As I see it there are three options for replacing Trophy rear dampers:
a) 182 Cup dampers (£65ish)
b) Renault/Sachs Trophy-specific dampers (£115ish)
c) Koni adjustable dampers...
Hi guys,
Thought I'd share some recent snaps of my Trophy. Since we're having lovely weather atm and the car was clean post CSS, I thought it appropriate to go for a blast and take the camera along...
There was then a sunset...
Think that just about covers it...
Hi, I have owned a Cup packed 182 for over 4 years now, determined to keep it as long as possible.
Always kind of wished for the Trophy set up so I have just invested in a full set of Trophy dampers.
I was wondering what you guys could recommend to get the set up correct. Lots of advice already...
Over the last 3/4 weeks I've been having a handling problem with the Trophy. Everything felt fine until I entered a left hand bend and I would turn the wheel but instead of turning in sharply the car would take a very wide path no matter how much I turned the wheel.
I checked the tyre pressures...

Hi all now i know this has been covered many times before however i have a query that as far as i can see no one has asked.
Now im getting the front dampers refurbished middle of May, im currently running standard springs but im looking into the rears.
Im unhappy with how the Trophy likes to...
OK, so last night i got the Geo done by a mates garage. Yes, they are a bodyshop, but when you are the authorised repairer for Lotus, Aston, Ferrari, Lamborghini & Pagani, you probably know how to set up a clio lol ...
So, effectively, since we fitted the front suspension, the Toe has been out...
Pick my car up from jamsport saturday after having ported and matched inlet, custom remap, whiteline rear arb, pagid front discs, ferodo ds2500 front pads, goodridge braided brake hoses all round and 5.1 brake fluid so will let you all know the results fingers crossed they will be good
110 has done 38,769 but I've only done just over 2k since acquiring her in June 2010. I'm just curious as to how well used these cars are on average? Is your Trophy a daily driver or a weekend/summer toy?
Cheers! :)
Ok, so i dont normally whore, but thanks to James (JMS) and Mike (FailSport) last night, the TroFail is now finished. I'm sure a few of you will have read my project thread, & i'll update that with more info than in here, but chuffed isnt the word, it drives brilliantly & looks ruddy lovely imho...
