Hi guys.
im thinking off the idea of getting front and rear strut braces for the trophy.
but do they actually need them.
does anybody think they improve the handling??
I'd like some input from people who have fitted them.
thanks for looking
What kind of springs work best with the Sachs apart from the standard ones? Looking to go for stiffer springs but don't want to wreck the dampers in the process.
Thanks.
Absolutely gutted! After 7.5 years and 80k miles, I've had a coming together with a very solid old stone wall, and come off second best. Stuffed the NSF into the wall, no metal panel damage, airbags didn't go off, but the assessor stopped counting the damage at £3.5k without getting stuck into...
Hi guys,
Picking up #355 next week and will be my second trophy.
It will be a second car for me so not a daily.
I want it to be setup the best way possible.
Shall I keep it standard in terms of springs etc?
I've heard good things in terms of Mark fish, Cooksport, whiteline arb.
Are these...
I'm due to be changing my rear discs. I have bought standard ones with the abs ring and bearing already attached. Are these still just a simple swap like the front ones would be, or is there a little more to it when the bearing and abs ring is involved?
Thanks.
I have one turini alloy wheel from a clio 172 cup.
This was bought by myself as a spare for £65.00 months and months ago but it is different to a trophy wheel.
When i got this alloy wheel it was very badly bashed with a few big dings in it. I have since just paid £45.00 to get this wheel...
I have a full set of TPI polarised wheel bolts for sale including locking wheel nuts. They were on my Trophy for less than 1000 miles (due to me selling the car). There in good condition only marks are on the locking wheel nuts as they seem to be made of a soft metal compared to normal bolts...

RenaultSport Clio 182 Trophy #196 For Sale
Sadly, the time has come to sell my Trophy. I've been offered a company car and it's makes too much financial sense to accept and I can't justify keeping the Trophy as well.
It's currently just ticked over 61,000 miles and it's probably one of the...
my friend has a saxo vtr and has lost their locking wheel nut key, any suggestions. They have not got the code to get a new key cut.

Couple of weeks ago someone decided that using the rear end of my trophy would be a better way to stop than using their brakes
I am in the process of paying the salvage costs and will have a CAT C write-off trophy for either sale as a whole or to be broken up. The only damage is to the...
Hi all,
Just wondering about alloy wheel fitment on Trophy's. Is it correct that the standard fitment on T's is et43 and on 172/182 cups it is et37? This means that the front track is 12mm narrower than other sport clips. I know if you move the wheel further out, your kpi centre line is...
Right ive decided to sell my Trophy and want a R27.

I have my old Trophy steering wheel for sale, it has perfect grips, but has melted around the rim as they all do. When I was looking for a re-trim it seems the grips being good makes a difference on the quality of the end result. It has the cruise control buttons fitted.

Just wonderd what the main cause of the steering wheel melt problem is?
I presume it's the sun's rays beating down on it, making it hot and causing the material to deform or is it the UV's prematurely ageing the leather?
Just wondering whether to park it with the windcsreen facng away from the...
I really like the 182s because they are so cheap for the performance. However my car is cheap to insure slightly cheaper to run and gets me from a to b if it breaks it is cheap to fix like the 182s so why would I upgrade what would be the point why doesn't everyone drive the same cheap eco...
