My front pads are nearing the time to be replaced at the moment I've got the Standard Renault discs and pads.
I’ve bought myself the Brembo HC Disks but I’m undecided which pad to...
Hi guys , I had thought that I would go for the Nitron Damper setup that K-Tec are developing for the Trophy but have read great things about AST.
And I just wondered if anyone on here has them fitted and what they think ?
Cheers

I bought these with the intention of fitting track day tyres or winter tyres, but instead they've sat in the garage for 3 years! They are chipped, scuffed, with plenty of marks and will need refurbishing to look any good, but structurally sound. The tyres are all different and need replacing...
Hi guys,I know you guys will be biased but why should I pay the extra for a Trophy over a 182FF?I know it's got the sachs but is the cornering ability that much better?Let me know your thoughts and why you went for a Trophy.Cheers.
My T is on Cup dampers and crappy lowering springs and I'm considering what's the best plan.
I don't think the price of new Sachs will ever be reflected in the car's value, so what's the general consensus - fit a decent set of coilovers, or leave it on the Cup dampers but swap the crappy...
Guy, Most T's have aftermarket filters, exhaust systems, braided lines & a few other bits as we all know. Now as standard im getting quotes of £600 which is fine, but declaring an air filter mod alone comes out at £900!!! Wtf!?
I cannot find a standard T. What to do?

Hi Guys , well have only just got my very first Renault Sport and it's number 451. I have driven lots of fast Clio's over the years and was looking for a reasonably priced Clio for trackdays and a little bit of agile fun. I have always loved the look of the Trophy and even though I am a VAG man...
So my cars been making this noise for a while now, so far the lower ball joints, outer track rod ends and steering rack bushes have all been changed, and the car has solid top mounts fitted.
So the noise started out quiet a few months ago, and is progessively getting louder, but from underneath...
Hi all,
Just wondering about alloy wheel fitment on Trophy's. Is it correct that the standard fitment on T's is et43 and on 172/182 cups it is et37? This means that the front track is 12mm narrower than other sport clips. I know if you move the wheel further out, your kpi centre line is...

RenaultSport Clio Trophy No. 461 (Possibly the world’s highest mileageTrophy?)
187250 odd miles
2 keys
Pretty extensive service history, self serviced every 6,000 miles for past last two years.
Good condition car for the mileage – few stone chips but no scuffs/dents.
Great engine and gearbox...
I set the newly refurbed dampers to (what I thought was) 22 clicks. It was as stiff as anything, handled well but felt extremely unstable on the motorway and there was literally no body roll.
I've turned them down a few times and there's a slight bit of body roll now and it feels better...
I am in need of 4 new tyres and looking at prices for premium brand 205/45/16 tyres are £100+ each including P&P/fitting. I used to run a ph2 172 and they ran on 195/45/16. I remember with Conti Sport on the 172 the handling was more playful than the Trophy. Has anyone considered or are...
Came with my new track car but i always use the same wheel on all my track/race cars so this is of no use to me. As brand new, only a few weeks old, £156 from demon tweeks. Its a Model 08 Momo wheel, black suede with black anodized spokes, 350mm diameter and is a dished wheel as you can see from...
Hi everyone. I recently purchased #151 from a very friendly Robert Evans from this forum. It need a few service issues addressed but I'm happy and it drives extremely well. I have been using the search function but I still have a few questions.
1) Brakes pads are 85% worn acording to the MOT...

Hello Cliotrophy.co.uk :)
This is my first post on the forum so ill try keep it relatively short!
I'm currently on the hunt for my second trophy. I sold my First Trophy roughly a year ago and miss it like mad! I'm a massive Honda man so have always had those as a rule but the clio just won me...
So just this evening, officially the Trophy changed hands from Sir_Dave to myself. Drives awesome for a Clio with 186,601 miles, better than quite a few clios i've driven actually!
Plans -
Needs an interior so a 172 Cup interior's being sorted.
Fit lower arms and track rod arms/ends off the...
If a head-to-head test was conducted to assess Cup, Sachs and say H&R Coilover dampers, I wonder if we are able to say what the results would be on the road and track?
I like the idea of the Cup dampers because they are so cheap (circa £100/pair) and must be pretty good.
I like the Sachs...

Hi,
I am doing my first track day oct 14th at angelsey (anyone coming?)
I plan on changing my brake fluid and wondered what people used and recommend?!
Also, would braded lines be a worthy upgrade or are they already braded on the Trophy?

Hello all,
Just wondering if anybody else has used these as track wheels. I have a set (et 43) and when i put them on the spokes just (i mean just) clash with the rear brake carrier. A small spacer makes it clear but i thought the rear setup has never really changed much on any of the clios...
Following on from some other topics and comments regarding Sachs and rebuilds, has anyone changed the Sachs for something else, if so what are the options?
I know the Sachs are the selling point of the Trophy, but as there is a lack of new stock and the refurbs do not seem to last I am...
My trophy has developed a strange leak.
When it rains i end up with water under the back seats (even when parked).
As far as i can tell the water comes out of the passenger side rear seat belt bolt.
After doing some careful hosing i don't think the water is coming through the back windows, which...
