I finally got round to swapping my alloys over so these are for sale. They're not great condition so I've priced them accordingly (I hope).
Tyres are legal but...

Over the last 3/4 weeks I've been having a handling problem with the Trophy. Everything felt fine until I entered a left hand bend and I would turn the wheel but instead of turning in sharply the car would take a very wide path no matter how much I turned the wheel.
I checked the tyre pressures...

As I was moving cars about & an opportunity to take a quick pic presented itself.
The Trophy next to my Lancia integrale EVO & our recently purchased EP3 Civic Type-R Premier Edition.
Good day chaps!
My recent MOT revealed a leaking driver's side damper. So it's my intention to whip the shocks off, send them to BG for refurb, off which i have just emailed. Just a note, I emailed Mark Fish first, who basically said use BG as they have the market covered for this job.

Well even after nearly 6 years of ownership this little pocket rocket still surprises me.
I know how quick it is on a B road, but in a straight line i always thought it slightly underpowered to take on the great and good of Germany's finest but boy was I wrong.

Hi all
I had a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for, so excuse the new thread.
Is there a recommended set of milestones for services (minor and major)?
My Trophy is sitting at just under 41,000 and the previous owner advised me to get her serviced next at around 45k...

Anyone tried Federal 595 RS-R's : semi slicks like R888's - they are significantly cheaper than Toyo's and seem to get good write up's elsewhere. I'm need a new set of track only rubber (was on 888's) and might try them ????
I just read on a recent topic that shell v power is good for reducing the carbon on piston heads. I've always used this up until recently as shell garages are becoming harder to find where I live, my nearest is about 20 miles away ! I've often wondered how much difference it makes using high...
Hi all, just saying hello and having a crafty look around here.
I am currently on the look out for a Trophy, so i thought i would join up on here and do my homework.
Cheers

Handling been shot lately and checked the tyres, 1 was on 7mm and the other on 2mm! Long story but had a puncture on the other 7mm and have been running a spare for a few months.
Just got back from a local garage who fitted a new PS3 and did the allignment and filled the tyres with Nitrogen...

Evening All!
Trophy 369 (one of the Northern Irish cars) is currently enjoying it's wee stint over in England while I'm working here. Being that age, a timing / auxiliary belt was soon due, and with a service looming, and a wheel bearing calling out to be retired I started ringing around to...

Brake fluid... Bit of a mystery topic!
To help dispel some myths and for some good solid general info on the mysterious world of brake fluids I decided to contact Millers Oils up in West Yorkshire.
Their Technical Director, Martyn Mann was on hand to give us some useful info… below is...
Hello all,
I visited the 'Chelsea Autolegends ' event back in September: a wonderful mini-Goodwood , chock-full of incredible '60's GTs and racing cars. Imagine my surprise and delight when I spotted a Trophy in this august company! It was the only modern car on display in the whole event (OK...
One of the coil springs has broken at the front of the 182 Trophy and i was punching my head with what i was going to do as the OE Renault ones are £150 a spring.
Just called Mark Fish and ordered a full spring kit for the 182 Trophy.
Has anyone got this spring kit on there car and if so what...
My rear pads need replacing very soon i've used the search facility and found lots of posts regarding brakes etc.
Now i know the brakes at the rear only take about 20%, so i was going to go for either the standard renault OEM pads or the Ferodo DS2500's which i think quite a few people are...
Does anyone have a list of cd players that will work with the steering wheel hand controls. Would be good if they also are iPod touch friendly. Any help would be great cheers
I recently bought some port matched inlets butbefore fitting I spent hours polishing up the out side before fitting. I complemented this with a polished strut brace that really doesn't offer much in way of performance increase but unlike the way it looks.
Also did my own tacho change by buying...
