I appreciate this may be a long shot, but should anyone need family friendly wheels and be looking to let go of their Trophy, I'd be interested in doing a deal. I was commuting 65 motorway miles a day for work, and the S-Max was ideal for comfort and cruising and covering family duties and...
Hi everyone.
I sadly have to sell 224 to free up a bit more money towards a house deposit. I’m the 3rd owner and I will miss this car hugely. I’ve owned it since October 2009, have done quite a lot of mileage in it and it’s never let me down once.
HPI clear.
The car has a full service...
Hello, I've bought a trophy and I love it lots, but there's a couple of niggles:
1) I feel the car is slightly down on power, the car has an incomplete service history and i'm told the cambelt was changed by the previous owner, it's suggested that I get the timing checked, does anyone know how...
Need some quick expert advice please
I have a 182 cup pack. Been offered front trophy suspension with hub only thing is the one damper needs repairing.
My question is it worth getting just front and how much to repair generally
Cheers
Hi All
I am trying to become a proper member by getting hold of a Trophy and Ive got a few options.
There is one with 68k for £3800 timing belt done at 48k and another with less miles 40k for £5500.. Which would you go for if condition is not much different.. Not seen either but looking for...

Having owned 259 for 6 weeks or so but spent 4 weeks of that abroad working, it was time to sort out the front end of the car. The fog lights were missing and the splitter a mess.
I fitted some new Fog Lights and a Seat Splitter to refresh the front end. I am happy with the result...

The front of my T has quite a lot of stone chips. I read over on cliosport.net that red is the worst for stone chips as the paint is softer, any truth in this?
Anyway, it seems to be true for mine so I've had a quote for a front end respray.
The quote is to remove and refit the front bumper...

Well eventually I have gotten round to fitting my new Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 tyres to go alongside the K-Tec exhaust and induction kit already fitted.
So on Thursday I am paying a visit to Dan at 519 Automotive to sort suspension and brakes.
On the list is a set of Spax RSX fully adjustable...
So I've been doing a few more miles in the T recently and this morning after being on the receiving end of some serious road rage AGAIN and tbh not being your stereotypical boyracer hoonhoodlum I'm beginning to wonder if it's the car that attracts a little bit of extra unwanted attention or is...
Hello all! After a flirtation with a 182 some time ago I have decided it is time to investigate the best of the breed and have just become the new owner of Trophy #051.
Seemingly the first item I will need to attend to is a refurb of the distinctly tired Sachs dampers and have already spoken...
I'm Selling My 182 Trophy due to having a new baby and need something bigger, it's No 37/500 it has 1 previous owner, I bought it in Sept 2008 from allvehicles.co.uk it had done 55k, it's now just under 93k. Since I've had it its been well cared for garaged and used weekends, regularly cleaned...
Hi guys.
im thinking off the idea of getting front and rear strut braces for the trophy.
but do they actually need them.
does anybody think they improve the handling??
I'd like some input from people who have fitted them.
thanks for looking
Absolutely gutted! After 7.5 years and 80k miles, I've had a coming together with a very solid old stone wall, and come off second best. Stuffed the NSF into the wall, no metal panel damage, airbags didn't go off, but the assessor stopped counting the damage at £3.5k without getting stuck into...
Hi all, looking to join the most discerning of hot hatchers and have £5k with which to do so. Must have had dampers and belts done and be on no more than 60, 000 miles. I'm in London but will travel.
No 147 is for sale on ebay with furry steering wheel and missing fog lights, exhaust looks misaligned, and the engine has been replaced?? dented roof panel, other wise perfect.
My T is on Cup dampers and crappy lowering springs and I'm considering what's the best plan.
I don't think the price of new Sachs will ever be reflected in the car's value, so what's the general consensus - fit a decent set of coilovers, or leave it on the Cup dampers but swap the crappy...

Well as some of you will know I have just got my new trophy last week (no 451) and thought I would take it to Cit-Ren in Norwich for a checkover and to get some little jobs doing , door switch failed etc etc.
Well I got a nasty surprise , the former keeper has replaced the front Sachs dampers...

Hi Guys , well have only just got my very first Renault Sport and it's number 451. I have driven lots of fast Clio's over the years and was looking for a reasonably priced Clio for trackdays and a little bit of agile fun. I have always loved the look of the Trophy and even though I am a VAG man...
