I'm thinking of buying a couple of Mich PE3's as the fronts need replacing.
Rears have covered at least 15,000 miles but have good tread.
Do you,
A) Replace the fronts with the new tyres?
Or
B) Switch the partially worn tyres on the rear to the front, and put the new tyres on the rear.
?
Hi,
Thought I'd sign up here to get some info from Trophy owners before I test drive some.
I currently own a Peugeot 106 Rallye 1.3 which I really like and recently thought I would never sell as it does almost everything that I want in a car(no I dont want comfort!)-steering feel, chassis...
Hi all,
Last year I was looking for a Trophy as a trackday-toy, in the end I went for a modified VX220, now though the Clio-itch is back.
I've always been drawn towards the Trophy, rather than the Cup, but is it worth the premium if the car is to be used as a trackday-toy/daily driver? Is a...
Could do with 2 new front tyres and was wondering what people thought of these for general road use?
http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... s344p59604
only £10 more than the PE3's, guessing they offer considerably more grip in the dry being a track focused tyre? But wondering just how...
Anybody running them and whats the verdict over the Exalto's? I read somewhere the exalto's are being stopped and replaced by something else so was thinking RS2's may do the trick
How do they perform in wet/dry conditions, cold/hot days etc. I've heard they're similar to a track day tyre for...
Trophy #461
No clean shots in here detailing freaks.
It gets driven, & it gets driven hard. 172k miles & counting.
Mud is courtesy of the field at Haynes, which was perfect for handbrake turns ;)
Trophy # 433 (now owned by Luke_89)
On its holidays in August...
........noticed my Trophy has started doing this again like my old 172 which I read about some time ago and was led down the road of fitting the washers under the top mount rubbers.
Have not fitted these yet to the Trophy (may explore solid tops if problem cannot be resolved) but have a...
Has anyone contemplated using them? If so, what brand and size? Also would they actually provide better grip than the PE2's in winter?
I was looking at UK mean maximum temperatures from October to April, and between at least November to March temperatures should be highly suitable for winter...
Those with PS3s fitted - what tyre pressures are you using?
I normally run 32 front but they seem a bit squidgy if you chuck the front around.
I'm guessing a softer sidewall causes this?
Gonna try 35 front later and have a tinker.

What are peoples current thoughts on the Trophy's Steering wheel?
Thankfully mine still looks OK but i'm aware that many with a few more miles on have suffered from excessive 'melting' and the thumbgrips start to split and perish. I had this with an old 172 Cup.
So, what are the current...
Not a thread about "Are they any good or Where can I get them". I have just fitted two to the rears of my T. Initial thoughts are that they are better than the v70's in the wet and will wear better too. Obviously better than the PE2's as far as grip is concerned. Will check how they wear on the...
HEllo...
Just need some help on a spring choice for the trophy... I have just sent my dampers off for a refurb And got some new rear dampers to. During all this I noticed I had a snapped spring, so before the dampers come back I need to get some springs... After Reading loads of threads I'm...
......buttons, no airbag or silver insert.
Removing from my 28k Trophy. Has damaged right thumb grip and usual melting/wear on outside of wheel.
£35 posted or VERY near offer.
Thanks
Going to book in the T at RS Murray some time later this month / early next month for her belts.
Is there anything else i should get done while I'm there? The car is on 24000m
Only possiblities i can think of are water pump and dephaser pulley?
Thanks,
Wayne
My Trophy - #433

Having now owned the Trophy for 6 weeks & 3k miles, i thought i had better put a little thread up about it ...
Basically, since October last year, id been rolling around in a Golf Gti Edition 30, which really wasnt to my taste & did shoddy mpg...
ive owned no#51 for just over 2 years and loved it, best car ive ever had in fact. its was when i was at silverstone for the british grand prix and saw this clio 200 albi blue with cup chassis and the recaro seats i went wow. in the flesh it does look lovely pics dont do it justice. so looked on...
Was at the 'ring at the weekend, had a fantastic time in the Trophy, definitely the most fun I've had there yet :D
Was hugely impressed with the Pagid Blues, they really did give incredible stopping power.
Got a clip of the last lap of the day, but wasn't the fastest. My best was a 9:08 with...
Hey guys, What do you think of the new Megane RS 250? I quite fancy one myself! and I've been looking for a 2ltr turbo for a while and this could be the one ;o).
An interesting tyre review in this month's EVO (as well as a 20th birthday special on the Clio sports, with the Williams preferred).
The tyre review caught my eye because it featured (an evolution of) a tyre which a few years ago highlighted to me the importance of tyres and the effect they can...
Hey guys,
The Sachs are coming off '380' later as they're booked in with Ben on the 8th. I've noticed a lot of people saying that they've had the struts un-pinned to allow adjustment to the damping. I've had a quote of £25.00 each + vat, is it worth me getting this done while they're away?
I believe you can get a (?) mechanical Quaiffe diff fitted to a 182...? Around £1000 fitted. Meant to be a very useful mod.
Has anyone got any experience/knowledge?

Hi Guys,
Im looking at getting one of these in few months. Il still keep the T as weekend car but use these Ibiza for work ect. You can remap them to around 210-220bhp with 330 1bf of torque. Only weight 1215 Kg which is same as ep3 type r. so this will be realy quick. Id same mid range will...
Here we go..
My original plan was to buy a 182 and upgrade the seats, suspension and wheels. But when I worked it out it was slightly cheaper to go all out and buy a Trophy.
Number 214/500
42k Miles, FSH, MOT, Tax, VERY good bodywork for the milage, Ran smoothley, and a decent price. Yesss...
Anyone have them on their Trophies? I'm tempted to get some rear ARB's. Hopefully going to go with the Mark Fish sus set up at the end of the summer also. If anyone has that total combination would be good to hear your thoughts.
Here are a couple of short videos of a recent track evening with the Clio 200.
It was my third track event with the car so starting to get along quite well with it now. Great car for trackdays :-)

Hi guys,
I thought I'll put a little update on what I brought after selling trophy 383 to 'jh106'.
I searched high and low for a decent one and eventually one turned up and there were only 4 of these in the country at the moment... so I couldnt miss out!
Its a 2004 JDM Honda Civic Type R...
