Why dont you just buy the grips?
If your going to buy a whole new wheel you might as well look out for a 197 wheel?

Ideally looking to pay £100-£150 for a used wheel and up to £200 for a new one (Renault want £375!).

Re thumb grips, they are moulded to the wheel and not replacement item, some companies were making them but they didn't bond well sadly.

Re 197 wheel, seems to be varied opinions on fitment but would rather keep the car as standard as possible.

Makes the car seem really cheap, its falling apart!

Here mine thats been retrimmed. Thumbgrips redone in leather.

Awesome craftsmanship was £150+ wheel in exchange. Guy over on Cliosport arranges them. Could get you more details if you need.
