Hello people, new to site, got a message from someone at Renaultsport about this site otherwise i'd have never known. Ive had my Trophy new since Nov and not looked back, 4000miles now and loving it. Going to use it as a test car for work and later on this year shall be tuning it, cams...
With so many of us likely to buy Michelin Exalto 2 tyres as replacements for the ones already on our Trophy's, I thought it may be useful to start a thread with location/prices for the aid of all of us.
So as the first entry I have found Exalto 2s at:

I have been washing the car every week but would like to wax it. I have Zymol Autowash and Zymol Cleaner Wax and after using the autowash today then using the Chamois. I applied the Cleaner Wax and doesn't really come out as good as I hoped there are swirl marks really small ones. I don't do...
Quick report should anyone be interested
Where to start...
Andy Walsh - the instructor (ex Benetton F1 test driver) nice bloke, laid back and good at conveying complex points succinctly.
Began with the basics, eg how to turn the steering wheel. I knew about pushing , not pulling...
Went to change the the oil in the Williams this afternoon, and I could not get the old oil filter off, and I just wanted to see if anybody knew of any special tatics for removing the filter.
The best access I could get is in the three inch gap between the block and the radiator, but I could...
Often overlooked, but very important to the balance and handling of your car. If you haven’t checked your pressures in a couple of weeks, go out an do it today - if you have been driving your Trophy hard, they will usually have changed.
Most people seem to use the following...
Ok, as my post on Trophy review in CAR magazine got a bit off topic, I have started a new one! Here is a few reviews from the internet:

Was really damp in the morning and my god is this car good in the wet!
GT2, C2, Exige, M3 all moved to the side too let me though!!!!
I've allways thought the trophy handled a bit like an Integrale and this just showed it has just as much grip in the wet, though steering...
Almost through first set of Exaltos after 4 track days with the Trophy, and thought I'd post up details of other makes that come in the same 205/45 size :
Bridgestone Potenza S-03PP
Dunlop SP Sport 9000
Pirelli P Zero Nero
all come in 16"
So there are some decent alternatives if there are...
Alright just done 930miles and doesn't really seem as quick as the clio 182 cup I took out with the dealer. I could really feel the kick at 5000-5500rpm but don't seem to feel it in the trophy. The dealer told me of a person with a trophy when I was going to order one so telephoned the person so...
Just had time to grab a few clips from the video I took at Donington on Sunday.

I've just been out and spunked loads of money on cleaning stuff, mits, polish etc. I got some of the polishing cloths which you cut up to size and then can use with polish, but the only thing is all the little threads that come off. I wish i hadn't started now.
What cloths do you guys use?
Unfortunatley I brought my 182 a little to early back in March so wont be getting a Trophy. Really hoping the Sachs suspension kit does get released that is being talked about over on Renault Sport forum, if so hopefully I will get it for my Cup Packed Black Gold car.
