Left work at usual time yesterday and the Trophy just did not seem 'right' to drive.
Have checked dampers and all seem ok - rear replaced within the last 3 months. MOT also passed early part of July with no advisories so imagine they would have spotted any major 'wear'. Car seems very light...
the standard back box (one of them) is leaking, bearing in mind only had it for 2 weeks, i looked at the MOT and its advised 'slight deterioration mid/back sections' so i went back to the place i bought it, they said 'take it to the garage', so i did. 'about 4-5 hrs we will need the car for', as...
I went for a 360 Health Test today at Nuffield in Manchester. When I left I walked up to my car and saw this .....
As you can see they went for the glove box. I'm sure they were looking for my Sat-Nav, there was nothing of any value in my glovebox and nothing was taken from the car...
Lol I know this is a longshot
My dampers have been away for refurb for over 3 weeks now and I get a different excuse everyday.
I am doing a trackday at donnington this Monday 25Th July. I need to borrow some dampers for the day :D
Obviously would pay if they were damaged and happy to pay...
Not on a Clio, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions:
Focus 1.8 53 plate
31k miles
Been running perfectly. I left the car standing without being driven for about 3 weeks. Started and drove perfectly for a week after being moved, noticed that occasionally it wouldn't start first...
Hi guys,
I'm confuzzled. Looking through so many threads on here about the original Eibach sport springs i have found a glitch i would like ironing out. I recently replaced my trophy springs with a new pair. the part number number on the springs on the ones i replaced and like wise...
Took my car into a local garage today to try and get my brakes working properly and he hooked it up to the diag. machine that come up with a steering angle sensor fault. Which explains why i have an ABS, Traction and SERV light on the dash. This has occured because i disconnected the steering...

Well after running around with the dreaded Serv and TC warning lights on for the last few months I finally took it in for a brake pedal sensor change which appeared to fix the problem.
That is, until yesterday when I had the MOT and a brake fluid change and now I've got one more warning light...
I know Renault seem to get bad reviews amongst people regarding the reliability but during my ownership I have found the Trophy really reliable. I've owned it 3 years and 4 months and had the following issues...
Failed Coolant Termperature Sensor
Failed Damper Seal
Failed CV Boot Clip
Thats...
Hi chaps, wonder if anyone can help with my issue. I've been doing quite some work to my T the last month: Front sachs refurb, fitted Ktec solid top mounts, Poly bushes fitted to lower wishbones and anti roll bar, new track rod ends, lower balljoints, koni adjustable rear dampers, mark fish...
Trophy was handling like a bag of crap, noticed a bouncy damper so had it rebuilt at BG a few weeks ago.
Also the exalto's on the front had come to their usable end so replaced them with the Pilot Sport 3's.
Anyway, Trophy's feeling a bit weird in some corners, i cant really describe it, its...
drove the car to the petrol station today and noticed a little puddle under the car towards the back of the engine, im pretty sure its not coolant because it tastes and looks totally plain, we've had a lot of rain lately and now its dry and red hot and at first i thought maybe water had gathered...
It may just be me being worried or the road angle or something, but i seem to feel my front n/s bounces more than the o/s on flat full road width speed bumps where i can feel both rebound at the same time more or less, and there is a little knocking noise every now and then,
i know the knocking...

I'm based in Berkshire and I want to upgrade from 2 to 3 stars so I'm after some guidance on buying a used Trophy.
When you bought your used Trophy did you get a professional independent inspection carried out? If so, who did you use & would you rate their service?
If not, what did you check...
55 plate T spotted in the car park of the fairly new 50meter indoor swimming pool in Portsmouth yesterday evening.
Very clean however a very coked up pair of scorpions, ohh and a pink jumper in the rear window
Does anyone know the Engine Code for the 182? Apparently the wheel alignment place need that to match up the Trophy against the models listed on their machine, and the car is in another garage at the moment.
I'm looking for a good wheel alignment place near Sheffield, I wouldn't mind driving as far as Leeds / Nottingham and anywhere in between.
I need them to fit the camber bolts as well since the last place I went to didn't have a clue.
Hunter equipment would be best so I'm told.
Many thanks
Rick

Hi all,

The guy at the geo place mentioned the track rod ends can sometimes be a...
Just took my T out for a drive and it seems to be lacking power. Still accelerating ok but just doesnt feel as if all the powers there. Anyone else experience this ?
Just had the front dampers back from BG motorsports, and replaced the rear dampers and top mounts at the same time. Imagine my surprise to hear creaking still coming from the front suspension somewhere [-X
I've done some digging around on here and people suggest replacing the ball joints at...
As per title?
I honestly can't see myself selling the little bugger. Took it for a blast on some newly discovered B roads recently and was still absolutley gobsmacked at how bloody good it is. :D
I bought a Boxster S six months ago and even though it's a brilliant car, unless you're a...
