Left work at usual time yesterday and the Trophy just did not seem 'right' to drive.

Have checked dampers and all seem ok - rear replaced within the last 3 months. MOT also passed early part of July with no advisories so imagine they would have spotted any major 'wear'. Car seems very light to steer (have checked tyre pressures) and just does not have that planted feel it usually has.

Wondering if the front tyres are causing me these issues as they are on the wear markers (1.5 - 2mm remains). Due to the constant change in temperature down here in the SW I am wondering if the tyres have just reached the end of their life? It was incredibly hot yesterday so wondering if this may be a factor.

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated, time for new tyres and a trip back to the garage.........

Hi Cue,

Thanks for the replay.

Seems more noticeable at lower speeds, have had a family friend take a quick look and he doesn't think it is mechanical.

Will get some new tyres and see how it performs after. Also noticed braking seems poor so tyres seem to be the problem for a number of things!

they are the most important part of the car lol - the only contact it has with mother earth... well unless you like parking it on it's roof lol.
