Just came back from a few days in the Isle of Wight.
Took the Trophy (filled with camping stuff) and left the wifes 182 FF at home.
Spend most of the week dodging poor road repairs. Sometimes when it 'appears' perfectly flat that can be even worse.
Makes me think its too hard for carry good...
What an earth were they thinking it's stone age in comparison to Silverstone, great circuit but the facilities are pretty dire, i actually think it's a ploy to pull the plug on the British GP full stop.
What do you guys think
Hi Guys

How come the clio cup race cars have the filter bolted straight onto the inlet manifold? Ive seen 4 now and all have this set up.
Doesnt this cause heat soak?
Has anyone tried this on their Trophy, with what results?
Cheers Scott

I want one of these for the back of the car. Anyone know the place to get a good quality one? Not sure I trust Ebay.
I'm sure I'll get accused of slander etc for not actually having been, but I think they look good and don't care!
Thanks.

I've been told that it's reasonable to swap the front set of wheels for the back set of wheels in the interest of 'cough' preserving consistent tyre wear.
While I appreciate this is potentially a pikey way to go on tyres, it may make some sense as it means you can manage to have 4 newtyres...
Have just spoken to Rentech in Portsmouth about my Trophys hard ride. I love the car but using it every day, sometimes its just too hard. They have said that they can remove the pins from the dampers which will make the ride softer, however they have not had any feed back from the few trophys...
Thought I'd visit the site again as I keep seeing someone's Trophy whilst on the train.....brought back memories.
It's been almost a year and a half since my Trophy got written off and I've since sold my Focus RS as I got bored of it and got a new toy
Check out the pics, what...

Hello Everyone
Many thanks already for the hundreds of tips and suggestions I've read so far. I don't actually own a Trophy yet but by the end of February I hope to have one nailed down.
I was hoping I could get a little assistance from you all.

Clearly RenTech are the...
Now I have my Trophy, which I chose because it would be a fast car on track without modification, I realise, that modifying cars is just too much fun to go without, so I will be modifying the Trophy :)
Just for a bit of fun, and maybe to make the fun last, and perhaps to help others...
Quite keen to try a Whiteline rear ARB on the Trophy, mostly read good reports. Any thoughts from anyone?
Also note there is the start of a group buy over on the cliochav forum, sorry I mean cliosport.
Hi all,
I have always upgraded brakes on my cars, as I think that it improves the car is so many ways for swift b road trips and track days and I have always been disappointed in the Trophy’s braking performance, but other people seem the be fairly pleased with them as a standard...
Whats everyone got planned?
I, along with a few others have bought a package from circuit-days.
Any 5 of there advertised trackdays for £600, bargain seeing as the ones i did last year were £199 each (tup)
Thinking Silverstone GP to start.
Now that the 197 Cup has arrived I intend to buy one in the new year. This will mean that my beloved trophy will have to go, as (as much as I have tried) I can't find the funds (of justification) to keep both! So I'm putting him up for sale soon :( . If there is anyone out there who is...
Hi all,
I'm considering taking the Trophy on a track day at Donington and was wondering if anyone has already done so? Is it worth it? as Donington is quite a laurge circuit it might be better suited to something more powerful.............
Cheers
