    gdi mods

Has anyone had the 172/182 Inlet manifold / GDI ECU / Cam Package from gdi? Think it looks quite good 1500 quid for 200bhp and 180 torque, i spent about £800 on ecu, exhaust and induction for my old 182 and probably didnt get near 180 torque, maybe 157 torque but nowhere near 180...

    Clio 182 or Trophy

Sold my Subaru a while ago now and decided to look for a 182, got 6k together to find one. I have seen a few around that price. My question is should i just borrow some money and just buy a Trophy. Are Trophys a better drive than the 182..... Johnny

    Blooming Recaros...

I've had the car 3 days now, and done about 400 miles...It really is fantastic and I see why someone has termed the car 'Super Mario Kart'. However, at the risk of sounding like a whinging so and so, my back and legs haven't stopped aching. After about 20 mins in the Clio I begin to get...

Had my Trophy nearly a month now and I've a couple of quick questions about the passenger seat. 1) In the "secrets" sticky thread it says "There is a rectangular 'cubby' area under passenger front seat to store items such as wheel locking nut, first aid box etc." Is this for real? Where is...

    R26 - First impressions

Well, it's been a day of mixed emotions and 500 odd miles in 2 very special cars. I left Brighton this morning and took a roundabout route to Cheltenham via the A272 (one of the best roads in the South of England) in the Trophy and even in the completely atrocious conditions I still had a very...

    Angelworks & Pagid

My car is now back from Ben, who fitted cams, modifed inlet and a re-map. His only concern was that as the car has only done 4,000 miles, all on the ex-factory full synhthetic oil, that the rings may still not be fully bedded in - wants me to use ordinary mineral for a while - and so installed a...

Is the Trophy for me ?

I currently run a Saab 9-3 and normally lurk on Scoobynet, have had a few sportier cars such as a Volvo T5, Fiat Coupe Turbo, Golf GTI's, Rover BRM etc. My Saab is nearing 100,000 and hasn't got aircon so I fancy a change, I have been eyeing up the 172 and 182 for years now, especially when...
