24 years old - previous cars Opel Manta GTE Coupe 2.2L exclusive (wish i had the money to finish it at the time),Citroen Ax (simply awful) , Renault 19 TD (great fun with boyracers uphill), x2 Renault 21 Turbo's (best car ive had so far :D still own one of them) and finally the trophy strangely enough i didnt read into renaultsports since they started with the 172, but a mate of mine i worked with at the time had a 182 cup running 280 something BHP N/A... which got me intrested in new school stuff which then he traded in for a trophy everytime i saw it just sat there in the carpark i just had to have one took me in it a few times and that was the final push i needed 18 months ownership , would of bought from new if i didnt have my head in the sand! though id love a quadra but im torn between that and the trophy :(

Hi Chris - not sure if this is a daft question but is insurance / road tax etc similar to the UK?

I will be 42 in June, so I too am a little older than the average Trophy driver. My wife uses it more than I do and she is only 39, so that kind of evens things up a little. My past car history has seen me own, in chronological order, a Mk 1 Escort van (in Australia), a Mitsubishi Lancer (again in Australia), an Alfetta (terrific car let down by bodywork built from Rumanian tin), a Renault 5 turbo (great car let down by terrible mechanicals), a Clio 16V, a 94 Impreza turbo saloon, a 1.4 Saxo (for my wife - not a good car I'm sorry to say), a 98 Impreza turbo 5-door, an 03 Impreza WRX PPP 5-door (still got it), a 97 Rover Mini Cooper (my 40th b-day present to me) and Trophy 415

I'm 21 and the Trophy is my second car after my Peugeot 106 1.1l, which I still love to bits, had since I was 16 and learnt to drive in. Such a fun car! Although a different kind of fun to the Trophy :)

29 here and like a few others the red rockets my second car/weekend toy have a 2.2 sri diesel vectra as my shed/daily driver.

Previous cars (including ages) volvo 480 (17), gsi cavalier 4x4 (18), Saxo vtr (21), then after acculminating some points and writing my vtr off i bought a vts saxo on the citroen free insurance scheme ended up buying another a year later with free insurance as insurance was a joke, seat Ibiza 130 tdi ( remapped to the point of showing 182's/ctr's a clean pair of heels in a straight line but torque steer central in the bends) (23), then the trophy at 25.

Still the only owner on the log book.

Other toys are my Speed four road bike and my GSXR 750 track bike. :D

Looking at the list it's comical that for a fraction of the price i was paying for insurance on the GSI cavalier at 18 i can insure 2 cars and a motorbike!!
