Perhaps they have to test drive it (for legal reasons?) to make sure everything is alright. Maybe ask them how many miles they will do on the test drive and make sure you are happy with their response, this will hopefully stop them putting on silly mileage whilst they have the car.

Now back up and running again. A new bottom and she looks lovely. Repair place cleaner it quite well too.
great to hear you are back on the road db, did they match the paint nicely on the bumper ?
