Had the gearbox oil and PMS kit fitted yesterday, The garage part fitted the Stiff Shift Kit, as they were unsure if i had been sent the correct replacement ball, so need to book it back in, as i have checked into it
Also have the old KTEC mounts up for grabs, not sure how many miles they have done, have seen about 16k under my ownership
Been giving under the bonnet a good clean, removed the sound proofing, and cleaned all the crap off, the a good polish and wax. Going to find out how much a new one costs, and grab some new black plugs
Had the stiff shift kit finished off last Thur, really like it so far, it has loosened up a bit but neutral is odd as you do not get the wobble and you have to double check, have been told that its best to adjust them after a long journey if you feel the need as they get stiffer when they warm up.
Give it a thumbs up though, gives a much nicer feel to the gear change
replaced the steering wheel insert today as the other was looking a bit rough, thinking about respraying the old ones, looking at a similar color to the wheels
Well i have got hold of a 2nd hand bumper, will need spraying and have also got an under tray on the way, will also order a slim number plate, like Ash has on his clio
hopefully will look like new soon
Car is booked in for camber set up, think ill go with 1.5 and 10mins on the front and leave the back as it is
Quick pic of the trim i have sprayed, still needs a rub down and a clear coat, having all sorts of problems with the long strip, the paint keeps reacting in different places :S
Bumper came today, cost £120, but came everything attached so by the time ive sold on the trim parts, the bumper should have only cost me about £40 . The bumper also came with the black undertray part that got broke on mine
it also came with one of these, do not think the T came fitted with them, but the fit behind the upper grill, acts as a splash guard for the belts, i already got one from ebay a few months back, so will be selling the spare at some point(not the one pictured)
