Exactly how bad are you guys finding your air con to be? Mine was freezing my fingers yesterday, although when I diverted it to blow up the screen, the car felt warm - I would have expected it to have cooled the atmosphere...

i'll need re-gassing by now, normally needs doing every couple of years in my experience in most cars.
The air con is colder than normal setting, but not what I was used to from my previous car, a 7 yr old 206, or the works Ford Focus I drive. It's been re-gassed already at the first service so I'd expect it to be a bit colder than it is, especially with what other people say about their aircon.
I have had mine regassed as the aircon has been in for repair (see post) but it still doesnt seem that cold? Maybe just not that good ?
