Anybody running them and whats the verdict over the Exalto's? I read somewhere the exalto's are being stopped and replaced by something else so was thinking RS2's may do the trick
How do they perform in wet/dry conditions, cold/hot days etc. I've heard they're similar to a track day tyre for...
Very good driver... totally committed. Two videos edited together. Wait for the second one. Made me smile all the way through. They take yards out of an E36 on braking and into the corners. Enjoy.

........noticed my Trophy has started doing this again like my old 172 which I read about some time ago and was led down the road of fitting the washers under the top mount rubbers.
Have not fitted these yet to the Trophy (may explore solid tops if problem cannot be resolved) but have a...
Due to a change in financial circumstances :( I'm taking the rather hard decision to suspend my insurance policy (a huge cost for me being 20) and lay #110 up until maybe spring or early summer next year. That way I'll be saved from renewing my insurance again in June as I can potentially...
Has anyone contemplated using them? If so, what brand and size? Also would they actually provide better grip than the PE2's in winter?
I was looking at UK mean maximum temperatures from October to April, and between at least November to March temperatures should be highly suitable for winter...
Those with PS3s fitted - what tyre pressures are you using?
I normally run 32 front but they seem a bit squidgy if you chuck the front around.
I'm guessing a softer sidewall causes this?
Gonna try 35 front later and have a tinker.

Hi all,
I’m currently going through redundancy at work and as a result, I am looking to sell my Trophy to get something cheaper and more practical. As you will see below, the car has never gone short. I am in two minds about selling it and will be genuinely sad to see it go.
Car & Service...
Trying to track down the cause, hoping someone else can offer a potential cause. For the last year I would say my T has handled slightly off. The positive feel to the steering has gone and I want to try and get this back.
So far I have had the following done on the car:
- Lower suspension...
Hi guys, it is with deepest regret the trophy has to go, after so long of not wanting to use it for work and finally convincing myself it would be good to keep it, today I got laid off from work.
Going by the current climate it could be weeks, even months before I get back into work so the 'T'...
Gave the clio a clean today, looks as if the zymol wax is keeping a nice deep glossy shine
Some may have seen when I had the timing done that I gave the sachs dampers a quick clean over, well I decided the full arch should be done, especially with the bad weather right around the corner, I felt...
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and as yet, haven't even got myself an RS Clio . However, that is hopefully about to change in the next week or so and I'm looking to buy a Trophy. Other than the reading I've done on the net and the usual Clio buyers guides that I've found, I can't seem to locate...

Whilst i'm aware that some of you perhaps think that the Cliosport forum is a bit 'childish', 'chavvy' or simply below you as a Trophy owner ... having read some of the threads on here since i've had mine, i have been constantly amazed by the lack of knowledge that 85% of this forums users...

Right I will get straight to the point as I have a list; I have owned my Trophy for now 2 months and when purchased I had timing belts done and an oil and filter change done. This weekend however I was doing a gearbox change and checked the oil now the dipstick read ½ litre low and when I...
4 x Toyo R-1R's 195/50/15 taken off of my own car 2 are in excellent condition with plenty of life left and the other 2 have more than enough life for a few trackdays but are not road legal.
These are the Toyo imtermediate trackday tyres and would be prefect for using on a wet or damp trackday...

I’ve just phoned my local tyre place (Tyres Northampton) who must be pretty reputable as most of the Evo writers use them and they told me Michelin have discontinued PE2s. I confirmed this with Michelin and was told Pilot Sport 3s are the replacement/next best thing.
What do i do? Get PS3s...
Basically what i was wondering is how many people use their Trophy for what it was primarily designed for?, and im not necessarily talking about track days but also just goin out for a pointless drive or a bit of a blast on your favourite stretch of road. As daft as it sounds i sometimes feel a...

Hi Guys,
I've used various products over the years but what do you find is best for cleaning your alloys?
Like my old Cup, i find the wheels on the Trophy very fiddley to clean between the spokes but am reluctant to spray with some of the chemicals i've used on regular alloys in case it takes...
