HM driving the road going version of the Zonda R, the 760RS. At £1.6 mil they aren't cheap. One customer bought two of them. It's amazing what Pagani have achieved in the Supercar World with their first car. Epic engine. Epic noise. Epic car. Epic video...
Evening everyone.
I've been umming and ahhing about selling the Clio for a while now, it's costing a fair bit to run which isn't great when I have another expensive hobby.
So i've decided I should probably try to get a cheaper car that's as fun and although i've looked at MX-5s and the like...

Bottom of the page (3) a little vid from yesterdays trackday (my first in the T) taken from a Clio 197 (or 200 - I'm not sure)
a bit damp but not too slippy. I slowed at the end to cool the brakes before coming in - not a breakdown! 8)

ive just been on the k tech website and they now have a low presure turbo kit for all 182s, and they will take it to rs tuning in leeds for a custom remap (3 hours worth)it all cost around the 3k mark, on their graph is says its putting out 212 bhp and about 200 ib ft so that would put its power...
Hello all, im new to this forum and im thinking of getting a clio trophy so thought it would be a good idea to register! at the moment my daily drive is a 106 gti which has been fantastic so can anyone tell me if the clio will be just as fun do drive? and also how hard/easy would it be to tune...
Parked up on the starting grid, looking very nice, a GRRC member too I think. Brought back fond memories. Is it Permagarded? It looked the slightly richer red that mine was.
The additional power from a nitrous system can be very addictive and because its such a simple job to increase the power (quickly changing a couple of jets), most users decide to take quick steps up the power ladder. It must however be remembered, that each step places increased demands on the...
Full stainless exhaust, including 200 cell sports cat. Originally a mega expensive system hand built by by Orbisoud who make clio cup race exhausts. Not only does it improve the breathing of the engine, it sounds fantastic and and saves approximately 12kgs over the standard system. Would have...

ive been a bit sad since i waved goodbye to my v6 a couple of years ago and since the purchase of the trophy i have always kept my eye out at the prices etc. The trophy has been an outstanding car and one of the best i have owned. I was browsing pistonheads last tuesday and spotted a 54 plate...
i was on my way to the jet washers to clean the car and at the traffic lights lies a mclaren slr, i was hoping he'll go the back route which he did!, and i couldnt believe how good my car is, i took traction control off and its so much better, it turns in so much quicker and it didnt feel scary...
I can see me getting one of these in the next few months, so I'm going to give one a go tomorrow at the local Renault dealer. I'm hoping it'll be the perfect car for me -
I love the way the Trophy handles, but I don't like the relative lack of power and torque.
I loved the way my Focus RS...

There's quite often threads along these lines, but Karlos's thread about the pre-eminence of the Trophy got me thinking of where it sits in the pantheon of ordinary to become performance cars.
Integras do not count because (I don't think!) you could get say a 1.1 60bhp version like you could...
A few of us go together for a mad weekend at the ring, 4 days, hundreds of miles and several laps later. Im home and had to clean my car lol
A few pics from the weekend, there was a liquid gold R26 with 2 drivers wearing full race suits, gloves helmets etc so I deliberately waited to go out...
Well, it's been a day of mixed emotions and 500 odd miles in 2 very special cars. I left Brighton this morning and took a roundabout route to Cheltenham via the A272 (one of the best roads in the South of England) in the Trophy and even in the completely atrocious conditions I still had a very...
I went on the hunt yesterday to buy a new 'stop-gap' car... one to get me around the country looking at potential Trophy replacement candidates so I can avoid taking the train everywhere!
As luck would have it, I found the perfect car (relatively speaking...). I might muster up the courage to...

This is just a small selection of some of the cheaper tat that was rolling around that day, I tend not to photograph the really expensive stuff. For those who didn't make it, maybe next time? It was good to see Rich again and Steve Coulter (allvehicles) who made the sensible choice of going in...
Right well i havnt even bought a clio trophy but judging from the reviews on the morego 202, i plan to do this mod to my Trophy.
Opinions please as i know it is a limited edition model.
Would it affect resale in a bad way?
Also does it need mroe power?

Just got back from Northampton after purchasing Trophy 452. :) Pick it up next Saturday.
One owner, ~4900 miles, 55-reg, as-new condition, completely standard. It looks just like all the others, but I'll be sure to post up some pics when I collect it. Haven't looked forward to picking up a...
Hi all,
Firstly let me start by saying hello to you all and congratulations on an excellent informative and interesting website.
We are in the proccess of searching for a 182 Trophy in or reasonably close to Hertfordshire hoping to pay less than £10k. I was firstly after a little bit of...
Hello, just wondering, as I have no experience of the clio sport range on how easy it is to tune the trophy or a basic 182 to 200hp? I am a believer in keeping rare, unique cars as standard as possible so subtle mods would be preffered! What have other members done?
Cheers this is my...

My father is claiming there is a "weren't they great" comparative article about the Focus RS and the Trophy in there. He's getting on a bit, bless him, so he may be imagining it.
:?:
I shall find out on Saturday when I pop in.
