If any of you have been following the crazy and embarrassing (for Renault) saga that Trophychick is going through with her car you'll be aware of the dead end that they now seem to have reached. For it to have taken a couple of weeks to fix a car is too long, their story has now reached 5 months...

Hello
My passenger seat is rattling like mad and only seems to stop when someone over ten stone sits in it!!
Not only rattling but is loose - I have taken to one dealer and they have told me this is normal! I don't agree.
I ve heard whispers that you should get this sorted and is...
In my local paper there is an artical regarding the bonnet catch failing on a clio whilst in motion.
In this case the car needs a £1000 repair. Renault say 'not enough incidents' to prove a design prob
The engine is from my 05 reg 182 and has covered 22k miles, all of which I have put on it. The car has had a full service history at Platinum Renault in Bath.
The engine was in running order, however i had Platinum dismantle it as irregular noises were coming from it. Since then i have been...
Please can someone shed some light on a problem i'm having with No. 259.
Got her last weds but been away since thurs, got home today (sunday) and she's steamed up with a puddle under the passenger seat..... any suggestions?
I was given a spare Exalto for xmas (thanks Dad!), my plan being to have a spare to take to a tyre guy if I need a new one after a puncture.
When returning home today I was surprised how neatly it fitted on the floor of the boot, and this got me thinking.

One curbed speedline alloy. Luckily I video the car before and after as it has happened before at another garage different car and was denied. They marked it with some kind of blue adhesive, hopefully that means they will repair it next time and not say its was already there.
Looking for some advice regds a problem a fellow trophy owner is having .
It seems to be having problems starting and seems to be starter motor related but after the aa man wacked it a few times it still not working , its been at the dealers and they replaced the starter motor, it worked...
Gutted!
Just kirbed my alloy, gutted, my car is absoulte mint. or was!!
Its the black a.... can't remember what its called alloy.
How do you get a hold of a new one and how much?
I know it could probably be refurbished but it will never be the same, do you powder coat it?
I wonder how much these wil go for!!

Should be a good price for these and an excellent item for someone wanting to experience decent handling!
8)
Is it any good or should i be getting a spare wheel & tyre????
With winter fast approaching, don't want be fannying around at the roadside when it's dark, cold & wet
I've just been perusing the cliosport forum and someone on there reckons that there is a Trophy for sale in the Southern Autotrader for £9,500 ono. Apparently it looks in good nick and has done less than 15k.
How depressing is that. I just hope its a Cat D or something!
ok only had the car 3 weeks but was pissed off with that whistle.
but its not windscreen it the slight gap in the wing mirror where it swivels.
not sure why no one has found it before.
just put your hand out the window and you can put your finger tip over the gap at just the right point...

Looks decent enough, wonder how much it will fetch?

Silly question:
When putting someone/something in the back seat, my drivers seat flips forwards and slides forward, whereas my passenger seat only flips, i.e. doesn't slide.
Is this normal, or is the passenger seat defective?
Got a puncture repair in one of my tyres, and I am not sure whether or not to trust the repair on track? The tyre place that fitted said that they are rated to 220mph and it should therefore be fine on track, but I'm worried that the increased heat and pressure and the increased movement in the...
