It won't, other than a different type of primer will need to be used.

How the hell has that happened? Shocked that the bumper is completely undamaged.

I tell you what though. It could be fixed for under £1000. I had similar damage to mine, but that needed a new bumper, splitter, damper set, grill.

Could be a very good bargin for someone.

Why is it for sale though? Why did the person who had that happen to them not have it repaired?

Looks like a flatbed lorry or something reversed into it.

Did your shunt damage the inner wing / front chassis member? Looks like that has been damaged on this one... still, I'm surprised to see it in a salvage yard.

Looks like the splitter has been "split" aswell as the drivers side fog light missing too.

surely ther has to be more than "Light Frontal impact to Near Side Right", why would an insurance company class this as too much to repair and put it in a salvage yard???

How do we know it went through an insurance company.

We don't really know all the facts.

I'm tempted to phone them on Monday and ask some questions!

does seems strange that the bumper seems unaffeted yet th splitter is damaged with the wing on bonnet. obviously not front on damadge - presume then that the suspesion could have been hurt. may be a complete front end rebuild.

on closer inspection, its had a new bumper put on it - they're hiding something. wouldn't touch it. Although you'd be able to get at the accoust value quite easily without the need to remove the wheel, lol
