I had my 2nd coat of Permagard applied last week. I also treated the car to everything else on the Permagard list for good measure: full interior clean and protection, glass treatment and last but not least, engine treatment.
Keep in mind my car now has 25,000 (motorway) miles on it...
Decided to try and give my wheels a thorough(ish) clean today. They have brake dust in the corners where the spokes join the rim and the odd stain from what I can only assume is wet brake dust coming from inside the wheel. Anyway, the car was permaguarded before I bought it - do they do the...
Had left No369 in for the 12K service at local Renault dealer and on pick up was told that a minor mishap had occurred. If you call a 4 inch score on your wing a minor mishap.
The mechanic had been holding a screwdriver between his legs and accidently managed to put a deep score on the drivers...
I have to say that the red paint is one of the most unappealing things about Trophy ownership for me, i understand colour choice is a very personal thing - so some people will love the red paint - but for me, if the car was made available in another colour or two - i probably wouldnt choose red...
What is the best product for keeping the black plastics (external) on the Trophy black!
I've been using Autoglym Bumper Care but it isnt lasting very long, though it is at the end of the bottle. any recommendations people.
Still loving the car!!
I've just booked the Trophy in for it's annual Permagard treatment at Canary Wharf (0207 473 0099) for the Saturday after next, I was told to bring it up any time in the morning and it will be 50% of the original price, which was £130, so £65 for another year's protection.
I'm then...

I am finally going to collect car number #478 tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any last minute advice?

Here's another quick question!!! ;)
My Trophy is Superguarded from the dealers, but I want to clean it and Zymol it today! Should the Zymol products strip back the Superguard, or do I need an additional cleaner/solvent to get rid of it?
Hi everyone,
I am going to book in a Permagard treatment for the little Clio.
Anyone had any experience with the Permagard product?
We have had a similar hard glossy coating on a car which we kept in very harsh conditions and it fared very well.
BTW, they have quoted ~£150 for a...
Hi all
I'm thinking about getting the Mintex pads that BB have on offer (M1155).
Do you think I could just change my pads or would I have to change my discs at the same time?
My initial idea is to get braided lines, upgraded fluid and the pads while leaving the stock discs (now with...
i've just got off the phone to Andrew at yozzasport, he was very helpful. I've decided to get new lines, fluid and pads, the only problem being whether to go for the PF97s or the DS2500s. Bascially, as those of you who were at bedford will have seen, i'm not very good at keeping my car clean, so...
am i the only person here thats had issues with the swirl marks ?
through the day they r invisible but at night under street light it looks really bad ......
according to the guy today at the dealers he recons its just that the red paint shows it up more ,
i recon it was just a bad valet...
I've just been out and spunked loads of money on cleaning stuff, mits, polish etc. I got some of the polishing cloths which you cut up to size and then can use with polish, but the only thing is all the little threads that come off. I wish i hadn't started now.
What cloths do you guys use?
