I have owned a few clio's in the past and have always taken it to the same Renault Specialist near where I live. He has been a Renault specialist for nearly 15 years and he is very clued up on anything French to be honest.
Anyway, I've had an oil change from him on the Trophy a few thousand...

Hello,
I'm new here having just bought number 464. I have to say I'm loving the car but something is worrying me.
I thought I'd register the car on the owners register, however on there it shows two people claiming to have owned 464. I've just had the V5 through it clearly shows only 1...
Having had a plethora of hot hatches (and having the Trophy for 1 week) I can honestly say that i don't think that you could do much better than a trophy for everyday use. I traded in my Elise for this car and I believe its quicker!
More than anything you get the feeling from the driving...
As some of you will be aware I sold my Trophy about 2/3 months ago and bought a diesel due to amount of miles I was commuting. Well different job means I now don't need a diesel and can go back to something more fun.
Mrs and I both love the Integra DC5 (champ white) so will be looking around...

Hi everyone!
As some may remember, I was in the market originally for a 993/996. Unfortunately in the interim I've bought another flat which means that my budget has been reduced a bit :(
I'm actually having a HUGE problem trying to decide what to buy...
- Has to be unique
- Should be...

Sadly, i think the time has come for me to step down as a moderator. The amount of time I am spending on the site over the last few weeks has been getting less and less and I rarely have the time that i used to have to commit to the site.
The sale of my Trophy, followed by the sudden loss of...
I've always thought Trophys as it's a name rather than the noun Trophy, which would pluralise as Trophies, and Trophy's implies something belonging to the Trophy, ie. the Trophy's wheels are Anthracite.
A vote is in order, I think.
Hi guys

I was looking at this car maybe as my next car but
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/204364.htm
It has a clip missing for the side skirt, is this common? Is what he really means, it needs a new side skirt? It needs a first service, I'm guessing this is an oil change at about £150...

Hello site,
Firstly can i say what a brilliant car the trophy is, and how much i wish i had bit the buillet and sold my 182 CUp and got one two years ago. The negative was that i was only offered £7,000 for a mint private reg "CUP" six month old clio.......
Secondly, i have noted other...
Renault Clio 182 Trophy – Number 119 – 30k miles - £9500
05 Plate Clio Trophy, Number 119 of 500 UK cars, excellent condition and totally standard.

Sadly the time has come to put my V6 up for sale :(
Build number UK 175 with all the usual Clio V6 factory spec inc Xenons, sensitive wipers, etc as well as the following desired aftermarket modifications:
Pipercross Induction kit, K-Tec rear silencer & RS Tuning remap all of which make...
Seeing as more and more of us are moving on to other limited edition Renaultsports, what's everyone's feelings about extending the scope of the sight to effectively incorporate ltd edition clio's, meganes??? Basically try and make it a niche site that's slightly more encompassing for those of us...
After 4 months of ownership my hair nearly all pulled out and my blood pressure sky high - I finally decided to make the change - and quite fitting that when I had fitted it the heavens opened!
What a difference, can't believe I hadnt done it sooner!
A recommended modification :)

Hi all,
I pick up my trophy on Tuesday, just thought i'd drop in and say hi :D
I'm usually over on Cliosport.net aka Dannyboy172, i used to own a 172 (obivously lol) so i'm fully aware of Renault ownership. lol
I've p/x'd my impreza in for no.165/500 as i need something a bit more...
Finally, after over 18 months of ownership, I have got round to doing the rear window mod.....
... by removing the nasty renault retail sticker!!
I went on the hunt yesterday to buy a new 'stop-gap' car... one to get me around the country looking at potential Trophy replacement candidates so I can avoid taking the train everywhere!
As luck would have it, I found the perfect car (relatively speaking...). I might muster up the courage to...

Trophy 474 - i'm the second owner of this car which now has 16000 miles on it. Serviced recently and has also recently been PC'd which has brought the paintwork up as new - http://cliotrophy.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3648 contains the info and pictures of the work carried out.
You all know...
Apart from thinking they're really cool (ya sound like a teenager there  ) and would be great fun to drive, I don't know much about owning a rare 'foreign' car. I'm thinking it could be as much trouble as its worth. Has anyone owned a more 'finicky' car and loved or hated the experience...
Well... which car? :)
I find myself looking longingly at the Liquid Yellow (without scum stickers) Megane R26 that blasts the opposite direction to myself every afternoon on the way home from work. I just think it's a gorgeous car, and I think I may have to own one.
Being less realistic...
