Welcome mate.

I did the same swap 182 cup to a Trophy and belive me it's a lot better than the cup was.

Enjoy the drive home and let us know how it compares to your old car?

Cheers

sod the Trophy, offer to buy the nobel lol, now that's one hell of a car - i'd seriously consider letting the Trophy go for one.

Good stuff Stu - i think traveling for the right car is always a good idea. Any information on the car - mileage, 05/55, condition, standard/modified etc?

I'm sure you'll enjoy the drive back home. I think there is a couple of stretches with a lot of Speed cameras up towards the Aberdeen area - so might be worth taking/borrowing a speed camera detector if you have one, also get a map out and think about making some detours so take in some cracking driving roads whilst in Scotland ;)

got some nice pics yesterday from the mrs camera but forgot my card reader so had to use the company camera. its a bit old.

journey was blighted with speed camera's and vans on bridges, so i just stuck the car in cruise and came back at a steady 70mph. everyhere you looked some local authority wanted to take £60 off you and in return give you 3 points.could have easily lost my license on the way back.

i was happy about the spare wheel as i was worried about the 450 miles to get home with only tyre foam to help if i encountered a problem with a flat.

how do you find the Tarox disks?

I was/am in two minds whether to test them or just go for the brembo's...

they seem to be good no fade ,he also changed the brake fluid to DOT 5.

i have the receipt for them and they cost £280 all in.

the only thing i will say is there is more pedal travel at the moment, i think they may need bleeding again which is on my to do list for Saturady.

not much dust is coming off the pads though which is a bonus.

nice looking disc as they are grooved and drilled.

i think the choice is will come down to personal preference.
