Recently bought myself number 150 after many months of looking. I've only ever owned Clios in my life and I'm still not fed up of them yet. especially as the trophy is possibly the best hot hatch ever made.
This one had 1 previous owner - a member of Mcbusted... but never mind that because my...
A bit of a frivolous question/survey as I fancy a change during the T's spring clean. If money was no/not much of an object what would be your preferred exhaust.
For me it would have to sound great, not too loud and be well made. And anyone who suggests A Yozza will be beaten around the head...
hi all fellow Trophy owners, still got mine, nearly owned it for 9years now:).
Anyway, I know you guys (or some of you ) have part numbers off the proper Renault parts software and was wondering if you could tell me the correct part numbers for the following:-
what I am after is the sensor...
Driving the T the other morning to work, my brakes failed and my engine started idling at 2000RPM! Turned out my exhaust manifold had managed to melt through the brake servo hose .
Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse, on the way home stopping using just my handbrake my...
Hi all,
Was driving the T on Friday afternoon and all of a sudden my brake pedal became very hard and stopped working. I found the problem to be a melted vacuum hose that runs from back of inlet manifold and past the exhaust manifold.
The heat from the manifold had melted my hose and caused it...
........have had a very frustrating few weeks after the T was finally paid for outright. I think it's just been a month of 'doom' but hopefully the rectification and replacement of various components will see the T right as rain!
It started off with a very continuous issue with my Janspeed...
so just got round to getting the trophy full serviced/cambelt done etc etc.. all in good order aside from some rust where the manifold joins the cat, turns out just one bolt holding it together really.... seems like i need a new manifold, anyone have any opinions on whether i source an oem part...
With deep sorrow the time has come to sell my much loved Trophy as I am now in need of a 5 door car as we are expecting a new arrival in the family. The car has been very well maintained and drives absolutely superbly. I have owned the Trophy for 5 and a half years and have not had a single...
Hello. Been off here for a while as all was good with 014 until yesterday. Its failed it's MOT because of emissions. I did see it before but... the CAT is missing and the down pipe from the manifold is welded onto the Milltek exhaust. Looks like someone removed it badly. Anyway is the new cat...
Just thought I'd share this with you all. I was checking the ht leads and spark plugs and thought I'd paint the top manifold when I had it off. I used an airbrush (first time), connected to my compressor and 2k paint. I had the black from my last car and I got the capsicum red trophy colour...
Am getting fault code P0105........"Manifold Absolute Pressure / Barometric Pressure Circuit.
Does this suggest I need a replacement MAP sensor? Thanks.
EDIT.....sorry, forget about this. Jut had a look at the sensor and found it to be disconnected!
No idea how this could have happened..

Been looking Into which air filter is the best for the trophy and seems as if most people are using the espace v6 airbox? They are buying from this jms but I can't seem to find anything about where to get one from. Anybody able to help?
Hi all,
The T has been a little jerky of late, random sporadic speeds, nothing permanent. Mpg is high, does not seem to be drinking fuel, both lambdas replaced last year, and no warning lights.
Any ideas what this could be?
Thanks

As title,
Went down to see Nick at PureMotorsport today to have one of his nice new 182 manifold back systems fitted.
I chose to decat instead of use his option of a race cat, purely to keep costs down.
The system gave a proven 6.6 hp gain on the rolling road, back to back over stock on his...
My T requires a new exhaust system as the back boxes and middle box are breaking down inside, corrosion etc.
I do not want a loud exhaust I want something very similar to standard !
I know there's not much to gain but also something that will slightly boost performance, so a good exhaust...
Hi, just removed the old sprung manifold to cat fitting kit. Should the new 'cup' that fits into the front, manifold side, be difficult to get in. Should it be forces in or go in with a little pressure? I dont want to damage the manifold or gaskets my hammering it too much. I got the North West...
I have a set of 182 rear cup dampers. We're on my trophy when I bought it. They were in perfect working order when I removed them. Couple little bits of cosmetic rust. £20 posted.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone else who still frequents this forum have this set-up?
I'm having a major issue with the fit between the 2 parts. I am getting a blowing which caused me to fail the MOT for emissions. My MOT centre managed to get the car through but after some spirited driving it is...
Hi, I'm sure this has been asked many a time but I just want to be sure (: my trophy has started ticking when it's up to temperature and idling. The ticking increases with the revs, up to about 2000rpm then goes away. Is this the dephaser pulley on its way out? Anyone else experienced this? I'm...
Having owned 259 for 6 weeks or so but spent 4 weeks of that abroad working, it was time to sort out the front end of the car. The fog lights were missing and the splitter a mess.
I fitted some new Fog Lights and a Seat Splitter to refresh the front end. I am happy with the result...

Hi all basically I wanna get my upper and lower intake manifold painted also with fuel rail guard but will I need heat resistant paint for this or will normal paint cope?
