Hi all,
I was cursing along at 50mph when all of a sudden an engine light came on the dash, i haved checked the oil and coolant and ran the OSD on the cars display and no faults were present just - - - - , has anyone else ran into this before?
A bit of a frivolous question/survey as I fancy a change during the T's spring clean. If money was no/not much of an object what would be your preferred exhaust.
For me it would have to sound great, not too loud and be well made. And anyone who suggests A Yozza will be beaten around the head...
I was driving back home today and decided to take the long route along the b class roads for a bit fun... which turned out to be a nightmare as my scorpion now has a huge hole in it, just after the back box exhaust mount. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any information would be appreciated.
Driving the T the other morning to work, my brakes failed and my engine started idling at 2000RPM! Turned out my exhaust manifold had managed to melt through the brake servo hose .
Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse, on the way home stopping using just my handbrake my...
Would love to see this go to a decent home as I have put a lot of work and effort into it!

It is a 2006 model (06 Reg) - Personal number plate will be removed before sale.

Hi all,
Was driving the T on Friday afternoon and all of a sudden my brake pedal became very hard and stopped working. I found the problem to be a melted vacuum hose that runs from back of inlet manifold and past the exhaust manifold.
The heat from the manifold had melted my hose and caused it...
Hi,
I have an annoying low droning sound that seems to be coming from the rear of the car. It is linked to roadspeed not engine speed, and raises in pitch with speed, but then beyond 40mph seems to stay at the same level.
Everything you read about suggests rear wheel bearings, but there is...
Hi - my dampers due to go in at BG on October 31st. Getting the struts power coated too.
It's expensive enough already (and have been happily buying other bits for my new car without keeping an eye on what i'm spending!) - and adds another £170 to the bill.
Has anyone done this, and if you...

What do we make of something like a 27k mile gap and a 20k mile gap between services? I'd like to think it'll have a negligible effect in real terms given the engines are meant to be strong. I bought a 330Ci before that had over 30k miles between a service and it always ran sweetly at over 100k...
It might seem like a bit of an odd swap (long story), but I'm on the cusp of selling my 08' M6 and looking at some alternatives.
I nearly bought the original 172 but got a MINI instead, and have always had a hankering for a RenaultSport Clio. But got some boring questions as the M6 wasn't the...
Hi all,
Some of you the forum will know me already, although I've been quiet for a couple years.
I've owned my Black Gold 182 since Oct 07, so I've had it for nearly 7 years. The car has been absolutely fantastic in this time, however due to me recently purchasing an E46 M3, I cannot justify...
Hi, i have a mk1 clio 1.2i 1998. I encountered a slight rattle whilst i was driving along and has persistantley got louder, it happens all the time wether hot or cold. I assumed it was the drivers side cv so i changed the driveshaft, it seemed like it hushed it down abit but the noise is still...

Hi chaps
I'm after the best trophy I can get please - Low mileage, so anything from say 10-20k would be what I'm after but will consider lower if there are any around. Must be with good service history, and must be good condition ideally with original paintwork.
Happy to discuss prices with...

Hi all,
been looking at getting a second car, and a Trophy has always been on the list...:)
Have saw one and put a deposit down, but as it's so far away haven't been able to inspect it.
There's no info about whether the dampers have any attention, so I'm assuming they won't have had a...
I got hold of a trophy at a reasonable price. I knew it needed work. One of the things it came to my attention is the sound the engine is making. Here is a quick video. 182 trophy engine grind: http://youtu.be/Sh0a8OIifEI
I got a receipt for the dephaser and Pully. If the engines gubbed I...

Hi guys, sad to say its time to sell the Trophy as new job means I need a more economical car for motorway driving. I have plenty of garage space so I'm in no rush to sell.

Can somebody post or send me the OEM suspension settings of the

And additionally you can give me some hints for improvement.
I already bought camber bolts for the front.
I use the car on B-Roads and...
