I was driving back home today and decided to take the long route along the b class roads for a bit fun... which turned out to be a nightmare as my scorpion now has a huge hole in it, just after the back box exhaust mount. Has anyone else had this problem before? Any information would be appreciated.

sounds like it has dropped a bit on warn mounts? would think it would take a while to wear a hole through it, and would have thought you would notice noise of it hitting or scraping?

Exactly what I thought, no strange noises and no scraping either it's literally just came out of no where, but it's obviously been a weak spot. The exhaust isn't even that old either. But it wasnt just a worn hole in the pipe work, the mount has literally ripped off and caused the hole.

Is it still under any kind of guarantee? If so, I'd speak directly to the manufacturer.

No because I'm not the original owner who bought the exhaust :/, there's a guy near where I live with tig welding gear so I'm just going to get it welded up.

I have a 192 on mine, not exactly sure how long it's been on there as a previous owner had it fitted but it seems you have the same problem I did.

There was a definite hole as you could hear it blowing. I had it welded up but the mechanic said the hole was where one of the hangers are....it was coming off.

Maybe a fault in production? either way, get it welded. Fixed.

Well it got it all welded and it has been fine ever since, we must have had the same dodgey batch it seems. Hope the weld lasts now, the bloke did a good job though.
