its been nearly a year since i parted with my trophy and got a clio 200. now im having nightmares and i need a trophy again. maybe end of the year i will start looking but going to go find a completley standard one and this time its for keeps. :D
As I was moving cars about & an opportunity to take a quick pic presented itself.
The Trophy next to my Lancia integrale EVO & our recently purchased EP3 Civic Type-R Premier Edition.
Hi,
I have just discovered a leak and could do with some help identifying what it might be. It is a pinkish fluid, there are no warning lights on the dash and the car appears to run ok. I will be getting it booked into a garage but could do with a heads up.
Thanks
James
Good day chaps!
My recent MOT revealed a leaking driver's side damper. So it's my intention to whip the shocks off, send them to BG for refurb, off which i have just emailed. Just a note, I emailed Mark Fish first, who basically said use BG as they have the market covered for this job.

Hi,
What does the warning light on my trophy mean... It is the one that looks like a heart monitor... it always as far as i can see is combined with the diesel heater light but I obviously don't have one of those... saying that there is water in the fuel.... is it ok to drive or should get it...
Well, after 3 years of dreaming I finally bought my own Canoe :D.
I was a bit sceptical about putting a Canoe on the roof of the little Clio but it holds it very well, surprisingly. It does draw a lot of attention and I have to admit it does look pretty funny.
The little Clio has a whole...
This is what I picked up on sat - drove to manchester to collect it. Been very well looked after, no dents or marks on the body work. The recaros needed a clean up with the brush and alcantara cleaner.

wanting to put a sub into my 182 but cant seem to find a way for the power cable to get from the battery to the inside of the car..anybody got any ideas? and help much appreciated!
nearly hit 30k, so now been sent to garage for aux and cam belts, plugs, water pu
pump, rear discs (bearing gone), general service, bit of opies Titan and exhaust fix.
I might start driving it soon! (been real busy and the T has been sitting on driveway for a while)
My Trophy's exhaust back boxes are finally on their last legs and so the selection of an aftermarket cat back system begins...
So the initial search led me to the KTR Ultra performance system, which has a 2.5 inch bore from cat back. A bit more research led me to the understanding that the...
Well even after nearly 6 years of ownership this little pocket rocket still surprises me.
I know how quick it is on a B road, but in a straight line i always thought it slightly underpowered to take on the great and good of Germany's finest but boy was I wrong.
100 octane racing fuel on board...
Bit of help needed deciding on what tyres to buy. They'll be for track use only, pretty much exclusively Anglesey and Oulton Park, and shod on R15 5.5" steelies - don't know if that would need any consideration with sidewall stiffness? Car won't be caged and will be driven to and from the...
Ok so there is only a paragraph on the Trophy in the new Evo magazine so probably not worth buying if you're not a regular reader, but they list 6 giant killing road cars which the Trophy tops with a closing comment of "It's our ultimate giant-killer"
It's a good day to be a Trophy owner!
So I only just bought my 182 on saturday, it has just passed its MOT earlier this month and the problem that I am encountering is when im going round a corner at around 25 to 30 mph and I turn the wheel quite sharply it seems that the ABS turns on and slows the car right down untill I turn out...
Hi all
I had a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for, so excuse the new thread.
Is there a recommended set of milestones for services (minor and major)?
My Trophy is sitting at just under 41,000 and the previous owner advised me to get her serviced next at around 45k...
Hi Guys,
Looking for some help...
Last night I was driving my T and when changing gears it sounded like I was slipping the clutch (when I wasn’t) so I put it into neutral and the car revs didn’t drop they stayed at 2000rpm. I pulled into my drive way and it was still revving constantly at...
From yesterday. Saw a couple of other Trophy's as well, Spank-It being one of them, not sure on the other
New suspension setup on the Trophy is fantastic (set to -2.8 degrees negative front / -1.8 degrees rear), maybe not in the wet mind you, but when it dried out; lift, turn in, foot...
Just wondering how many of the Trophy drivers on here did regular or occasional trackdays?
Trophies are certainly built for the job and go really well on track but I've had no replies on the event thread I started here and the trackdays forum seemed a bit quiet generally :-k .
I assumed there...
when i set off in my car yesterday i heard a crunch and then as i was driving saw something fall over from underneath. turns out it is top bit of my spring thats snapped off...
has anyone ever had this happen? is it a product fault that renault will fix for free? also how much are...
I feel the shame already
Just a little comparison, I love them both though
Basically I got offered these cheap, they'd done relatively no miles and as I dont intend to drive the trophy hard this year at all then I thought why not enjoy the added looks low cars give....atleast to...
Good to meet you all today, and have a good poke around some lovely cars! Now want a V6. Glad the lovely Welsh weather held out  despite the conditions the camera held out and managed to a fair few snaps which can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulduddle ... 076669757/

182 engine on 93k. Slightly rattly de-phaser pulley when warm. Can be supplied with a 3 month old dephaser pulley if required. Cambelt and Auxbelt done 2 years ago by Sideways Danny. Can be heard running or can be taken to JMS for condition check- £355.
182 gearbox on 93k. No crunches and...
Im in need of 2 new tyres
Firstly - wheres the best place (cheapest) to get michelin pe2's or ps3's from (or other recommendations?)
Secondly, does it matter that much if i use say ps3's on the front and pe2's on the back, probably doesnt just i will have my OCD glasses and will be thinking...

OK, so last night i got the Geo done by a mates garage. Yes, they are a bodyshop, but when you are the authorised repairer for Lotus, Aston, Ferrari, Lamborghini & Pagani, you probably know how to set up a clio lol ...
So, effectively, since we fitted the front suspension, the Toe has been out...
Hi,
I test drove a Megane 250 Cup and Clio Sport 200 back to back today and I can't decide which is better.
The car will mainly be a daily driver with occasional trackday use.
The handling of both is great but the Megane might be a better car to live with day to day (if only it looked better)...
