Just a quick question, whats your mpg like at the mo? My Dads moved jobs a couple of weeks ago and since the longer journey to work the mpg has gone up .1 everyday! Its now at 34.5mpg and hes only using unleaded as there is no super around here.

I have bounced off the rev limiter a few times now at around 6,700rpm. The rev counter shows a red line at around 7250rpm. Is this a miles thing - have done ~1200 - is it a problem, or are they all like that? It feels like it could easily do more revs and I could certainly use them when overtaking.

Does anyone know why there is a 'button' at the bottom of the footwell where the accelerator is? The only reason I can think of is to de-activate the speed limiter cruise control. Other than that... pointless?
