Interesting article in the June magazine comparing the 200 cup and the 172 cup; 200 was 1.5 secs a lap quicker due to its "trick front suspension system and brakes" but the 172 was "more fun" ( I paraphrase). I believe Mr Metcalfe, who has some standing within said mag, owns a Trophy; I wonder...

right folks i been thinking about how far these engines can live on for, would these engines if looked after likely to see 200k? i currently use it as my daily and i aint too pleased about it lol

I have just taken my Trophy into renault and got told my front shock drivers side has gone, now is it best to get a replacement from them or buy some new shocks? The replacement wil cost just under £1500. :(

Sun was out this morning so took opportunity to take some pictures of the car.

Spotted last night the 12th of April 2010. Reg plate HT05 can't remember the rest. Nice to see a trophy up close for the first time. It looked nice looked a bit small though. Still looked ace though! :-D

Hi guys, I thought I'll put a little update on what I brought after selling trophy 383 to 'jh106'. I searched high and low for a decent one and eventually one turned up and there were only 4 of these in the country at the moment... so I couldnt miss out! Its a 2004 JDM Honda Civic Type R...

I have been looking through posts and at few photos of calipers that have been painted on here. I think it finishes the car off perfectly but i notice quite a lot of people reckon they would be better left standard. Just like to know what peoples veiws were on doing it. Cheers Elliott.

Fitted the top mounts, camber bolts and strut brace today - geo check tomorrow, had a drive feels pretty good but who can tell on the road, track day on the 24th so that will be a good test. Thinking that the shocks might need a refurb now though, as one had a faint sign of oil mist on the base...
