I'm assistant manager of a company that provides and looks after indoor plants (including the place Day works/once worked at).

Wierdly my job description includes helping write a blog.

Shameless attempt to move it up google, which is basically what it's for

Just clicked it for you.

I do the same. But I find writing stuff that is keyword friendly makes it look like I can't write, which is probably the case, but the content is basically bo*****s so the spiders find it, and also so I don't get booted off for commercial blogging. Like what happened on Wordpress.

If you're not doing it already, make lots of references and links to your official website, but disguise the text showing in the hyperlink.

Originally studied engineering, but as I could not find an interesting job in motor sport, switched to accountancy. This way I got into motor racing and was lucky enough to work in F1 from 1976 - 1999 (March, Walter Wolf, Williams, Tyrrell and briefly a Honda F1 project), and as a side line engineered the odd touring car - mainly chassis work. Last eight years have been on the financial/commercial side of the world's leading motorsport transmission company - all great fun, even if hard work, and most important of all a privilege to work in one of the UK's engineering success stories (motor racing engineering in general).

My finger did hover over the submit button when typing it, not wanting to be the first shot down in flames. For some reason the police aren't always that popular on car forums.

oooooopppS! Can one of the mods please remove my post about being pulled!! Lol!
On a serious note i have loads of respect for police officers =D> , as i for one know i wouldn't be able to cope with the job, but as with any walk of life theres always a complete ass, just when that complete ass in an officer of the law, they tend to take it too far due to their position!

I think it's encouraging seeing - you shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable. You are afterall no different to anyone else bar your jobs 8)

I like having Officers of the law on here, it gives a nice perspective on some topics and it's good to see some very knowledgeable petrol heads working in the force.
