I thought they all came with remote central locking to be honest.
Not sure how easy it would be to do if it doesn't, but a dealer should be able to supply you with a spare and recode it for you.
You could buy a key on ebay and then get it recoded - save yourself the dealer cost of the key!

All the 172's and 182's are 2.0 litre engined versions of the Mk2 Clio.
The first 172 based on the Mk2 Phase 1 (but often reffered to as the Mk1 172 as it was the first 172) looked like this:
Then came the facelift 172 based on the Mk2 Phase 2 (often referred to as the Mk2 172):
A reduced weight and improved handling version of this was also released known as the 172 Cup. This was available in Mondial Blue, and later Silver:

The 182 then followed with a modified twin exhaust system offering a bit more power, suspension enhancements, different alloys and a new range of colours.
This was followed by a 182 'Cup' version which like the 172 cup had slightly reduced weight due to less toys, suspension enhancements snd spoiler pack as standard and a slightly cheaper price tag.
Then finally to finish the production of the Mk2 RenaultSport verisons, the 182 Trophy was released in limited numbers. This has Sachs remote reservioir dampers for further improved handling, Recaro seats as standard, Anthtracite Turini Alloys, and only available in Capsicum Red paint.
