501 for the uk and i knew of 50 for the swiss - what's the additional one?

uk no's ran 000-500 and Swiss 01-50 i believe.

I saw this the other day on there but couldn't find it on the site....

Yeah, seems weird to have 552 as the total number of cars, hopefully someone can shed some light on it - maybe Jeremy T from RUK?

Its quite interesting looking at the figures for sales data that they provide for each model too - i didnt realise there were so few 182 Cups registered.

I posted exactly this on there yesterday, saying that 182 Cups were almost as rare as Trophy's (539 UK Reg.) In fact if you count each colour they are rarer (371 Racing Blue, 168 Inferno?). I had no idea there were so many more 172 Cups than 182 Cups. I thought they were much rarer. Seems the majority of 182's out there are standard 182's with Cup handling packs and Cup spoiler packs.

I'm sure I read somewhere that there were no #13 cars produced.

So 0-500 excl #13 would equal 500 cars, presumably the same in Switz.

Could this be true, or have I just had far too good a lunch again?

You know what, you may be right, which is why there are 500 registered, starting at 0, maybe that's why there is a zero car, because it was actually number 13.

And yes, finishing at 4:35 is a very good lunch, but no such thing as too good.

still doesn't solve why it states 552 Trophy registrations........ there's 500 for the uk - we know that much. but i thought production was bumped up to 50 (from 25) for the swiss market. so what and where are the additional 2?

The silver 172 cup is rarer still.
Only 90 registered.
That explains why I've only seen 1, and that had been modified

There's a French registered Trophy in the car park at work sometimes. I assumed it was imported from the swiss 50? Could have been a special case though (it's the Renault design centre / technocentre). I don't know who owns it though!

What? You mean what could very possibly (0.2% chance) be your car on the production line in Dieppe?

If you could see the higher resolution image you would see the piece of paper with the word 'TROPHY' scrawled on it, just in case the frenchies come back pissed from their extended lunch break, forget and put the cheap seats and dampers on it.
