Nothing else to do!

Apart from worrying that I might roll onto the pedestrian crossing in the centre of the road.

LOL, when i rolled the company van, ooops, all i could think about was the axe tumbling around in the back and 'why is it snowing in here' as the ashtray emptied it's guts.

Is that the actual car or just an example?

That's the actual one, it's a ltd edition and when this all started i went sniffing again and they still have it, very dangerous thing to do.

How come you all want an R26 and nobody's bought mine yet!

Sorry, not a fan of black cars... had it been silver or blue :)
BTW, is it still insured so you can have a Sunday morning blast now and again?

Believe me, if I could raise the capital, I'd have rid you of your black beauty a long time ago!! However, the time has come to think about flat hunting and an R26 might hinder that.. Plus I couldn't part with the Trophy, it would have to be an addition!!

Defo considered your black R26 Duffer but I dont have enough pennies yet!!

Lotus is gorgeous but I d prefer 350z. I like the MPS but it is slightly bland, may try get a test drive though to see what it is like.

147 GTA is lovely, however, Alfa build quality would be an issue.

Funny no one has mentioned best seller? Ford Focus ST or Golf GTi?

O.

Was it you that had a 996 previously? Recommend it? I'm thinking along those lines at the mo....

Sadly I haven't remotely enough money yet.

I considered a 996 but ended up with a 350Z instead which I absolutely love :)

I really quite lilke the Focus but around here, every man/chav/woman and their dog are driving them or Fiesta ST's which really puts me off.. At least Renaults are a little rarer.

I do very much like the Golf GTI but the Megane is faster and better.. In fact am I correct in thinking that even the Trophy is faster than the present Golf? - Not that outright speed should really be the deciding factor...

Skimming the classifieds, a hell of a lot of 996s seem to have had £6k engine rebuilds after so-so mileages

Pre-2001 996s had a common lining problem in the engine. Needless to say, probably not worth the risk...

In my book you need £35-40k to get a decent 911 that you can drive every day... going down the cheap 996 route probably isn't worth the worry factor, and the 993s are now on fairly high mileages.

Hence the 350Z decision :) And what a car it is having pretty much 996 output figures....

Great choice hoolio! 8)

I've been looking at Exige's reecently and saw this model on Autotrader...and fell in love...and then saw the price! I'll have to wait a few years...

What's it called again Club Racer or something like that? I think the map of the Hethel test track on the door cards and the exterior is a nice little touch...

^^^^Yes you're right it's the club racer,it's based on the Exige S. It's still very tempting though i would have had to sell 307 to give me a financial cushion and i'm not ready to do that.

Sorry for posting porn, but here's another pic :)
