Front ones yellow, rears black is this right?

Basically my Drivers-side Sachs has gone and wanted to know if you can fit the springs from the Sachs into Cup Dampers while the Sachs are off the car?? While i contemplate a refurb or see how much longer this new Damper Saga rumbles on for!! Any information appreciated, Many Thanks!
