Those with PS3s fitted - what tyre pressures are you using?
I normally run 32 front but they seem a bit squidgy if you chuck the front around.
I'm guessing a softer sidewall causes this?
Gonna try 35 front later and have a tinker.

I’ve just phoned my local tyre place (Tyres Northampton) who must be pretty reputable as most of the Evo writers use them and they told me Michelin have discontinued PE2s. I confirmed this with Michelin and was told Pilot Sport 3s are the replacement/next best thing.
What do i do? Get PS3s...
Was at the 'ring at the weekend, had a fantastic time in the Trophy, definitely the most fun I've had there yet :D
Was hugely impressed with the Pagid Blues, they really did give incredible stopping power.
Got a clip of the last lap of the day, but wasn't the fastest. My best was a 9:08 with...
Sorry guys, but I've just got a Trophy and it seems to want to cut out all the time.
Also takes a tad long to start up in the morning, turns over a couple of seconds longer than I'd think normal.
Even once warmed up after a long drive, put it in reverse and start to move back and it'll just...
An interesting tyre review in this month's EVO (as well as a 20th birthday special on the Clio sports, with the Williams preferred).
The tyre review caught my eye because it featured (an evolution of) a tyre which a few years ago highlighted to me the importance of tyres and the effect they can...
I know its a bit mad but over the weekend I had the t detailed by paul dalton aka miracle detail. I cant post any pics (to stupid with computers) but what a job. The t looks fantastic and the wax applied was his crystal rock. The t had paint correction as had water type marks that I could not...
So I’m sat at a junction behind a Nissan Navara who decides it would be a great idea to start reversing. Despite having my horn held on for a good few seconds he still managed to crunch the front of my Trophy... =D> Needless to say a new bonnet and bumper are required.
Then to add insult to...

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone owns or has owned a Megane R26? I've been toying with the idea of buying a Megane since having a test drive in a Megane R26R. I absolutely loved the R26R, just the noise alone is amazing! but it's a little unpractical for everyday driving, which is what I would...
after spending £100 last year on better gear, moving to meguirs, i've now discovered the internet's detailing world and spent another £100 on more clobber that you can't buy in Halfords! Bad on my finances but the T will benefit tremendously!

I've had my Trophy for over 3 years now and I love it, it's the longest I've kept a car out of choice (I once had a 106 diesel for a lot longer when I was a poor student). When I'm being sensible I plan on keeping it forever as I truely think it will be a special motor in years to come, I...
I bought these last year from 480bhp but after lots of you can, you cant use them with rule changes for the sprint class I will be in they are up for sale.
These are around £360 now and are THE best top mounts.
I want £200 for them.
After the credit crunch slump its nice to see a good selection of Trophy's back up at the £8k mark.
I'm just waiting for the 197 values to drop below! To put a smile on my face. :D
This is from a man who had an E30 M3 when it was worth less than an E36 & E46 M3. Maybe I should have kept that...

Hiya all,
am looking for a set of these as my next compromise road tyre. I am having a hard time finding them in Trophy size, any tips?
Camskills do them but are out of stock ATM.
Cheers,
time may be up for #356
just recently got married and possibly 356 may now be a little to small for our needs. The wife has her heart set on me getting a 330CI or 330 convertible, cos it looks "posh", and i was thinking of going for a 230 R26.
BUT....... the question I want to throw out there...
im happy that the renault beat the focus round the track, think it did it in 1.28.1 and focus 1.29.3, its 73 bhp less and £2000 cheaper but i will say the focus is much better looking and with all the luxuries on board itl be a better bet for everyday driving. if i wanted the car for performance...
Dont know if you know this but its on 5th gear later, should be interesting to see how much its moved on.(if any?) :?:
Not to everyones taste I will admit but booked a test drive later this week
Since purchasing my Trophy (413) 2 weeks ago i now feel it needs to good clean, polish etc inside and out also the engine bay.
Wanted some advice on what products to are best? from my fellow trophy owners.
A couple of sundays back Steve was kind enough to take me out for a run in his cup and show me why he decided to change from the trophy.. and then passed over to me for some fun down the the rs clios favourite territory the bumpy back roads/lanes, and now the chassis and the size over the trophy...

=D> ....i think people are finally starting to realise trophy's are amazing cars and people can't keep selling them for peanuts!!...mine was £9k last september there is no way on earth i would let it go for under £7k especially as it took me over 8 months to source such a minter (093)
Possibly not the right section but gonna change the stereo. Of the ones below does anyone have any recommendations, comparisons or reviews. Basically i'd like whichever one is best.

The Megane R26r is going to be on Fifth gear tonight (channel 5 at 8pm)
Definitely worth watching as i'm sure some of us trophy owners may well move onto a R26r, well thats what i see myself owning next at the moment!!

To all those who are looking for a Trophy or have recently purchased one (there seem to be many at present!). What's led you to your purchase?.. Wondering if something specific has sparked interest, like a magazine article or suchlike?
Hi all
Hope you don't mind me asking a non 182 question but I am tentatively looking at a 2005 Black V6 for £12K. Thing is after having a 182 for 2 years now (and absolutley loving it) I am wondering if it really is a 'step' forward or more of the same with a bit more speed/beefy looks and a...
A bit of advice please,
One of my headlight bulbs has gone, how easy are these to fit?
If i have very little patience or dexterity but also money (!) should i do this myself, or go to a garage to get it done?
(To give you an idea of my skills, I fitted the wiper stalk myself, but it took me...
