Practice tomorrow, should be good ! ;-)
Hi,
Having just completed a 1,000 miles since buying Trophy 383 from pm_air I thought it about time I shared my initial thoughts:
Having wanted a Trophy since they first came out I have to say the car is great fun and lives up to the hype. I came close to buying one new to replace my Elise...
Here are a couple of short videos of a recent track evening with the Clio 200.
It was my third track event with the car so starting to get along quite well with it now. Great car for trackdays :-)

Regards
Herdie
I have a problem with it.
When I go round a corner it feels quite light and tends to understeer and feel light at the front end. Furthermore if I push even slightly more the back end comes round. At first I thought I had it wrong but as daft as it sounds I went out to see if I did and provoke...

What is the latest thinking on this for the T?
I'm currently looking for a set of wheels and tyres to use on the track (not for the road at all), my starter for 10 is:
16" rims and R888's but is that the best option?? Also, related to the track, what tyre pressures do people think work best...
Morning all :)
just a quick thread to ask a simple question, this might make for an intersting read, if the answers provided are conclusive and factual, as much as i enjoy opinions everyone has one, so facts only please.
For all you who have had rolling road read outs, what do you actaully...
I've had my Trophy for over 3 years now and I love it, it's the longest I've kept a car out of choice (I once had a 106 diesel for a lot longer when I was a poor student). When I'm being sensible I plan on keeping it forever as I truely think it will be a special motor in years to come, I...
Ok, there's good news and bad news. I'll start with the good, so I can delay the inevitable lol. I LOVE these tyres. I fitted them at the beginning of December. I've used them through snow, ice, rain, you name it. They start well from cold for a track tyre. A bit of wheel spin in snow and ice...
Anyone know the best place to get either of these, forgetting Reno as they probably want silly$$$ for them.
Having the damned brake switch issue that makes the ESP light and SERV lights come on and consequently knock the Cruise off, and my garage have diagnosed that it is the brake switch, so...
Spotted approaching the traffic lights at the Petits Lane junction. I think it had a personalised plate, starting with R, however I was travelling in the opposite direction so wasn't sufficiently fast to fully catch it..
Over on www.evo.co.uk they're running a car of the decade competition.
I'm jumping the gun slightly but 2005 should be coming up (possibly on Xmas day at the current rate) and hopefully we'll get a chance to vote for the Trophy

Absolutly mental, George has my upmost respect :)
I was never a fan of the 4 different type faces that were on the outside of the Trophy, ie Renault, Sport and Clio on the tailgate, and then Trophy on the side skirts.
Emma, my g/f works for http://www.dread.cc as a designer, she has done many of the Pistonheads T-shirts, stuff for Lamborghini...
I bought these from my mrs mate who works for a furniture store, and in one dept they have audio - TV's, Surround systems, all the high tech stuff! and they are a BOSE retailer. She bought them originaly to use but I wanted them so bought them off her, I have had them since june/july and took...
Hello everyone,
Just wondering how the trophy compares to the civy type r ep3. Sat in a ep3 yesterday and I was really impressed. I went on fast laps to compare the two and the pre facelift ep3 was faster than a T round Rockingham by 0.4 seconds. But Iknow that fast laps...
