my gearbox has just gone which is rather strange normally i would of thought they last 100k at least and its not like it gets hammered everywhere it goes :? so as im looking to find a new gearbox i may as well get an uprated clutch while my car is in bits

What are the advantages of a kevlar clutch? - is it weight and strength? - are there other benefits?

I've heard of some gearboxes going, mainly the result of crashing back down through the gears at high revs.

the clutch its a lighter uprated version may as well change it now while the gearbox is due to be out makes sense...after that its FP which would be pretty useless in a trophy
