Reading this and other Clio Sport forums it's obvious that manufacturers produce what they perceive to be what's wanted when in reality an ideal hot Mk 3 would be: Light Weight, Great BHP/Ton, Have Recaros, Contemporary Colour Schemes and Wheels - all more along the lines of a 172 Cup / Trophy / CSL ethos. So, lower, lighter and a match for a Trophy from the off, then let's see what we have developed in a few years time.
Plus Renaults' ability to turn out top of the class hot hatches is fairly legendary so i'd be surprissed if it didnt move the game on from the current top of the crop 182Cup/Trophy level quite noticably. After all many people believed they'd never better the Williams - WRONG. Looks like being a special vehicle and hopefully, who knows, maybe oneday...
