That would be great to get that info, getting it maybe hard tho.

I think that is the idea of the splitter but as you say weather it actually does that i dont no. (personally i dont think so, i think its their for cosmetic reasons but i would like to be proven wrong).

To do it properly, it needs to be sealed onto the airbox - I have enlarged mine to 75 mm, which required modifying the airbox by blending in a 75 mm aluminium connecting pipe.

I am suspicious of connecting this to the foglamp aperture, as often this is a stagnation point, so left the inlet in the standard place near the horn mounting.

All very interesting ......... when I had the air feed pointing towards the airbox I found that the car did not like to accelerate much past 120mph - just used to bog down a bit? Now that I have the feed connected directly to the box I don't seem to have any problems and on the way back from the ring recently I hit 140mph without any problems.
Although the feed does come straight from the front fog light hole.

Cue - the Clio splitter is not really a splitter as it does not stick out forwards - it possibly reduces the amount of air going under the car, which might reduce drag - a genuine splitter would also help to direct air around the sides of the car instead of over, which should reduce lift (and as a consequnce might reduce pressure at the base of the screen!!).

Fazedesign may well be able to enlighten us further - so hope he is reading this.

I just had a very interesting drive home, via the nurburgring and a few other private airfields, I had a run in with a Maserati 3200GT, who couldn't get away from me up a long, steep hill, a motorbike that had to move out of my way for the bends and a Civic Type-R that contary to popular belief is not faster to 100, I was with him all the way from a rolling start and eventually backed off to let him pull back in, wasn't gaining on him mind but didn't lose an inch. The Trophy held it's own very well against 399bhp, 600bhp/ton and 197bhp and and is now ticking away outside with what seems to be a smug grin on it's face. I think I'll hold onto it a bit longer!

believe me it's a hell of a long drive from Croydon. Still I'll be going - 20 mins for me \:D/

I've just looked it up, 3 hours and 57 minutes away. I think I give this one a miss then!

Perhaps Nik will organize another Janspeed rolling road day? As I missed the first one.
