another thought - do you think Renaultsport will have done these test already? possibly only on the 182 but still that info would be great.....

All very interesting ......... when I had the air feed pointing towards the airbox I found that the car did not like to accelerate much past 120mph - just used to bog down a bit? Now that I have the feed connected directly to the box I don't seem to have any problems and on the way back from the ring recently I hit 140mph without any problems.
Although the feed does come straight from the front fog light hole.
