Yes you will as each remap is indivdual and wont allow the power created by new mods.

I am going to wait till last thing for the remap.

Can feel the differrence with my new exhaust!

Putting a post up now with pics!

Well done for posting the pictures up, that's one shiney new exhaust there!

I think a re-map is essential after new cams more than anything, the valve timing is completely altered, with the inlet and exhaust valves opening for longer, sooner in the combustion cycle and with a different overlap, after having induction/exhaust mods, you just need a re-map to increase fuelling to suit the increased airflow or you will run too lean, this creates too much heat in the combustion chamber and reduces torque as well as damaging the engine. With cams the engine mapping needs to be altered to match the timing of the valves, otherwise the spark will fire too late in the cycle and the fuel/air mix will not fully combust before the exhaust valves open. You may still see a power increase by fitting new cams without a custom map but it won't perform nearly as well and fuel economy will suffer.

Milltek looks excellent. I really must get one of those. Where did you get it from, if you don't mind me asking?

Not interested in a possible group buy David? http://cliotrophy.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... 4732#34732

That Milltek does look like a very nice system - looking forward to hearing that sound clip. The only thing that puts me off the Milltek is the fact its not the single back box design which seems more appealing to me - i wonder if there was a reason for MIlltek not choosing this option?

david87-i got the exhaust from Europerformance.co.uk much cheaper than K-tec.
