2 or 3 cm's :shock: Surely that's wrong, mine may not have done many miles and they have not been hard miles, but when i checked the play on mine was just a tiny waggle.

As to the changing the bulb, you only need to remove the bumper if you are changing the whole headlight unit, thank god.

Hoolio, thanks for the confirmation on the bulb vs the headlight unit change and when to remove the bumper. I was a bit worried about that one!

The gear linkage wobble did bother me hence not laying down the cash. I guess the amount of movement is different to each person. If you make a fist with your left hand, imagine you are waggling a gearstick, and move it 1cm to your left and then back to the right the same 1 cm I guess that was the wobble it had. It was more than 'tiny' but not massive.
