Finally got round to fitting my mark fish springs and koni rear dampers.

I measured the top of the alloy to the arch before and after fitting and after just rolling it out the garage the fronts dropped 15mm and the rear 20mm.

Heres the car with standard suspension...

Heres the car with the kit fitted...

Heres the front 'standard height'

Heres the rear 'standard height'

Heres the front 'lowered height'

Heres the rear 'lowered height'

And heres the kit itself...

how's the ride now? Back breaking or just a touch harsher?

Yes, I wondered about the ride also; fancied doing this for a while - mine's a trackday toy rather than a road ride so maybe it doesn't matter. Tell us more re the difference from stock ... :?:

Were you at ten of the best on sunday?

I wasn't but my mate rung to say he thought he saw my old car.

Hope the car is going well, looks good in the pics, have you waxed it yet cos if not it will be due as i did it in March/April and it normally last about 6 months

I have fitted the Mark Fish springs all round but i have not fitted the Koni's as my rear shocks are less than 8 months old.

My spring kit was £180 from Mark Fish direct, Here is his contact details

It looks good lowered, does it make much difference to how it handles/ ride?

He does not seem to ans that question Keo.
Was asked before in the thread....

I doubt it though, MF seems better than most, springs might be a little stiffer but its the std damping that gives the T its stiff ride.
Can only answer the handling question on limit on track, might reduce the slight u/steer the T has but for most that is exactly what keeps you safe on track and makes the RS Clios the best out off the box, value for money track car you can buy.

£180 seems a good deal for the 4 springs, may have to consider these if and when I get a broken spring!

Quick question - do you still need the bottom coil plastic cover for the front springs like the standard ones?

When i got my "Mark Fish" suspension kit the coil springs never came with any plastic covers of the bottom of the coil spring like the standard ones.

The front standard coil srping from renault is around £140ish (i think) so to pay £180 for a very very good set up thats well highly reccomended is well worth it in my eyes
