That publication isn't really on my radar, but I'd be interested to see how they compared them. Extra points for the CTR no doubt as it has more surface area to glue bits to.

if you didn't see the cover you wouldn't have guessed it was a Max Power article. The CTR was rated 1 point higher, just for everyday usability. The Trophy got the thumbs up for all out fun factor. I'll scan it later

New CTR over a Trophy? Another reason to completely disregard that dreadful comic.

I'm still waiting for my Evo Hyb.

i'll buy one later - i'm a max power virgin

got to question why a car with worse lock than the trophy, a more cramped cabin and higher servicing cost is more 'practical' or 'usable' but there you go.

Thanks Hyb, that'll be great. How's the S going? Saw a dark blue one like yours at Goodwood on Sunday (was that you), I love those things.

Old CTR, that's more like it, I thought it silly comparing those two. I'm glad my car didn't get the Max Power vote, less likely to get nicked by one of it's readers.

Well my scanner is on the blink, so I took some photos. Mostly readable at full size.

I'll take em down after a few days incase I get in trouble so make sure you save em

23/30, what an insult! And what would be 30/30 in this sector then? Wankers.

I hate to say it, but it looks like quite a nice article.

"With only 500 cars built for the UK, the Trophy carries a premium, but the tweaks - lighter alloys, a wider track and Recaro seats - are definitely worth the extra cash"

Another piece of journalistic excellence - didnt you miss something? What about a paragraph or even a sentence explaining the key difference between a Trophy and a standard 182 - the expensive race bred Sachs suspension?

Thats a glaring omission from the pages of Max Power this week and that howler last week from the AutoExpress or Autocar 'writer' about the Spax suspension on the Trophy.

Maybe its no longer a pre-requisite that you be knowledgable or interested in cars to be a motoring journo ;)

Worthless article written by what is obviously someone who has no real knowledge of the cars.

How can you not mention anything about the suspension? From the description the car could just be a 182 with Recaros / Cup pack. Silly, silly write up.

Also they quote Parkers as estimating the Trophy at £8500 after 10,000 miles and one year. Right. A bit of proper journalism (i.e. research) will take all of 10 minutes to reveal this as inaccurate.
